Find it. The only positive quality I’ve said about Putin is he’s intelligent. Other than that I’ve done nothing but bash the evil mother fricker.

Again, find me praising Vladimir Putin. I think my typical description of him is murderous thug.

frick off. Not putting up with your blatant lies.

I've always attempted to be that friend. It has served me well over the years.

Just because you aren’t rooting for a Biden L doesn’t mean I’m wrong.

Biden sucks, but I was hoping for peace, even if that meant a positive bump for Biden (however unwarranted). That’s more than you can say for many around here. That’s my point.

People will frame it as weak/strong, but I truly believe the main reason Putin was kept in check under Trump was Trump’s unpredictability. We all have that friend that you just don’t frick with because you never know if they’re joking or serious.

Biden, like many presidents before him (other than Trump) is entirely predictable, and Putin can pretty accurately guess the consequences of his actions under this administration.

Completely agree here

I think protecting national interests by whatever means is the answer at the end of the day, by any means

Understandable. It's just hard to see innocents getting taken as collateral and knowing a hard line in the sand would stop it. Then your commander in chief saying that the "sanctions were never meant to prevent invasion".

Just a little unsettling, that's all

BS. You have been wishing death and harm on people for years. You have praised Putin to the extent of supporting them. Now that the OT doesn't agree with you are reversing your stance. You crave thumbs ups and likes and are the epitomy of what is wrong with certain corners of our population that has nothing to do with political affiliation. You are delusional man: being frank about Putins strengths within the context of REALITY, is not praising him. You lefties have either gone nuts, or in the case of the media, their accusations of praise for Putin is a naked attempt to silence the free speech of dissent, political or otherwise. Shame.

You wouldn’t think it but a big chunk of WWI casualties happened in 1914 before trench warfare and permanent lines set in

Yeah but it’s not just us though. France, Germany and most of the Europeans wanted Ukraine in the EU. And I’m not entirely sure it’s all about NATO for Putin. This is bigger than that for him.

There’s been more fighting in this thread than Ukraine the last few hours. Jesus can we get back to updates and interpretations?

Yeah, no shite. Saying he’s strong and smart isn’t really praise, just me not underestimating my enemy. He is a murderous evil thug who stabbed, coerced, and clawed his way to power. That’s not praise.

Reinhard Heydrich was a fricking genius, but I also think he was the most irredeemable and evil man of the 20th century. Heydrich did his job and did his job well not because he believed the Nazi ideology, but because he found it fun and loved his job. It’s not praising someone to say they were evil to a shockingly competent and sickening degree.

Trump to me was more America first and wouldn’t want to intervene either. And nor should we. Not a Biden fan but I’m not sure what he should be doing differently right at this moment
