Nope it was a incorrect response completely missing the context as WWII predated the agreements where modern war crimes are governed from. The simple answer is there is zero examples where you can find American forces engaging in the type of tactics we are seeing from Russia since the standard for war crimes was set

Scoop! - Russia no longer demanding Ukraine be ‘denazified’ in ceasefire talks, will allow Kyiv to join EU if it abandons Nato aspirations

That Doctors without borders hospital in Kunduz didn't just jump in front of an AC-130 airstrike

A major win for Ukraine if true.

“Allow” lol.
They can be mad, they can send troops again, etc but they aren’t in a position to “allow” or not.
ETA this change in stance is also very telling on their part

BERLIN (Reuters) - Companies exiting Russia due to the war in Ukraine are welcome to move production to Kazakhstan, the country's deputy foreign minister told a German newspaper, saying Kazakhstan would not want to be on the wrong side of a new "iron curtain."
Countries should not come merely to avoid sanctions against Russia, "but all companies with a good reputation that want to move their production here are welcome," Die Welt on Monday quoted Roman Vasilenko as saying.
"If there is a new iron curtain, we do not want to be behind it," he said, referring to the Western term for a dividing line between eastern and western Europe during the Cold War.
A raft of Western companies are shuttering businesses in Russia in response to pressure from consumers to take a stand against the invasion of Ukraine.

Dropping a bullshite demand doesn't hurt them much and can be translated as "we weren't able to replace the government of Ukraine and probably won't."

It’s a huge deal. Ukraine’s Pro-Russian president Victor Yanakovich deciding not to join the EU in November of 2013 is what started the Maiden revolution, which led to all to everything that has happened with Ukraine in the last 8 years.

The absolute funniest thing about Russian foreign policy of late is the fact that they spent loads of money to implement a friendly stooge government in Kazakhstan just for the Kazakh government to turn around and tell them:

Wont join NATO: check
Can join EU: check
Can retain weapons: check
So just Crimea and the breakaways. The breakaways should be easy

I have a feeling that the hardest part of the negotiations is going to be convincing the Ukrainian farmers to give up their salvaged Russian equipment.

The initial Russian force deployed to the region was some 55% of all of their active army troops. For comparison, at the height of US involvement in Iraq/Afghanistan in 2007, we were deploying about 25% our active forces to those two areas. They're not deploying mercs because they're any good. They're got to defend a country that spans 11 time zones and they're sucking wind at this point.

Ukrainian forces recaptured Irpin, northwest of Kyiv, on March 28. Ongoing Ukrainian counterattacks around Kyiv will likely disrupt ongoing Russian efforts to reconstitute forces and resume major offensive operations to encircle Kyiv. Ukrainian forces additionally repelled Russian attacks toward Brovary, east of Kyiv, in the past 24 hours. Russian forces in northeastern Ukraine remain stalled and did not conduct offensive operations against Chernihiv, Sumy, or Kharkiv in the past 24 hours. Russian forces continue to make grinding progress in Mariupol but were unable to secure territory in either Donbas or toward Mykolayiv.
Key Takeaways
Russian forces have not abandoned their objective to encircle and capture Kyiv, despite Kremlin claims that Russian forces will concentrate on eastern Ukraine.
Ukrainian forces recaptured the Kyiv suburb of Irpin on March 28. Ukrainian forces will likely seek to take advantage of ongoing Russian force rotations to retake further territory northwest of Kyiv in the coming days.
Russian forces conducted unsuccessful attacks toward Brovary and did not conduct offensive operations toward Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv. Russian operations in northeastern Ukraine remain stalled.
The Ukrainian General Staff stated that a battalion tactical group (BTG) of the 1st Guards Tank Army fully withdrew from Ukrainian territory near Sumy back to Russia for possible redeployment – the first Ukrainian report of a Russian unit fully withdrawing into Russia for redeployment to another axis of advance in this conflict.
Russian forces continued to steadily take territory in Mariupol.
Ukrainian resistance around Kherson continues to tie down Russian forces in the area. Russian forces did not conduct any offensive operations in the southern direction.

Doocy is hack who asks poor questions.
He just asks questions to get sound bites for the Fox News hivemind. He’ll never elicit any new information from the podium.
