Why is Russia not jamming all the cell towers so the Ukies cannot use a $1500 commercial drone as artillery spotter is insane to me.
Because, in their infinite wisdom, the Russians developed a brand new state-of-the-art communications system/network that is reliant upon local 3G and 4G cellular infrastructure. Seriously. They put it into operation just last year.
I'm not arguing with you, but Russia has satellites and stuff. Why would they do that?

Drone footage of the Ukies shelling a Russian base. I'm no military expert or an expert on drones or anything like that, but that looks like video from a commercial drone with a GoPro attached instead of a video from a military drone. Why is Russia not jamming all the cell towers so the Ukies cannot use a $1500 commercial drone as artillery spotter is insane to me.
They aren’t using cell service. They are using the satellite communication service that Elon Musk has provided.
The drones were designed for package delivery, but the packages are 5Kg tank killing bombs. They do their “delivery” at night after the Russians have parked for the night. The drones have a 4Km range and use GPS and night vision to locate the targets.
Nerds from all over Europe are sending drones and parts that can be modified for military use.

Azov battalion during work. Some Russian train drive is going to get a nasty surprise tonight.

Couldn't tell you, but that was one of the issues with their comms that allowed people from all over the world to listen to them. The system they had wasn't working. They had to use unencrypted civilian radios and cell phones.
I believe Bellingcat posted some of the communications that were recorded. The Russians were talking about the problems with the system and told troops in the field not to try to use it.

I feel like I could wake up any morning to learn a nuke went off overnight. It seems inevitable.

Did you ever see that show on history channel about all the short waze radio guys in 70s that listen to those poor Russians Cosmonauts die in space? Of course, Russians said mission didn’t happen. (lol)
Let’s just be blunt here, Russians are just not that good at war. The beat the Nazis because they just sent in shite loads of troops like cannon fodder and stopped the Blitzkreig, and Russian Winter did the rest. Stalin didn’t care how many of his people died.
They got the Atomic bomb from captured Nazi scientists and spying on us. (They are good spy’s)
Plus the russian military clearly isn’t into this war with their cousins. Even most of Putins puppet dictators are saying “i will pass” on getting into this morass.
It’s Chinas move now.
This shite reminds me of when King George, decided to let his favorite cousin Czar Nicholas, and his family die, rather than risk the revolution spreading to British Isles by giving him asylum. (and they were like best friends)
Let’s see if the Chinese learned anything from history.

There is no longer a railway connection between Ukraine and Belarus, so the Russian occupiers will not be able to deliver Russian equipment by rail from Belarus.
Source: Oleksandr Kamyshin, head of Ukrzaliznytsia [Ukrainian Railways], on Nastoyaschee Vremya (TV channel created by Radio Svoboda and Voice of America).
"I appealed to Belarusian Railways not to carry out criminal orders and not to lead Russian military convoys to Ukraine. I can now say that there is no connection between Belarus and Ukraine," he said.
Kamyshin refused to say at what point the rail connection between the two countries was severed, in order not to put workers of the Belarusian railway at risk.
"I can't clarify the details, but I am grateful to Belarusian Railways for what they are doing… I believe that these people will be able to prevent Belarusian Railways from transporting military convoys to Ukraine," Kamyshin added.
"Currently, the railways are out of order", Kamyshin confirmed, "so Russian equipment from Belarus will not be able to be delivered."
Reminder: In the afternoon of 26 February, Ukrainian troops blew up the railway junctions connecting the Ukrainian and Russian railways.

A nice soak with maybe a cup of hot chamomile tea would do OML some good.
