No telling how long this shite has been sitting in a warehouse somewhere.
As my Pops used to say, "The expiration date stamped on munitions has as much to do with wars being fought as anything else."

That is DARPA's weather manipulation arm making it rain chips instead of water.

I’ve always thought the longer Ukraine holds out the more likely it is that the West jumps in to help finish Russia off.
A lot of people, high ranking policy makers and lawmakers alike, are seeing a chance to jump in and score an easy victory against Russia right now. They smell blood in the water and want to take a bite too. Frankly I think most are just thinking and acting emotionally rather than rationally at this point.
I’m afraid that we’ll escalate this thing with a no fly zone or even an outright bombing campaign of Russian formations in Ukraine while Putin still holds his nuclear Trump card.
I think the best bet would be for Poland/Romania to enter the fight outside of the NATO framework and help Ukraine on their own. I believe that could avoid a NATO/Russia war and end things in Ukraine rather quickly.

I fricking love Twitter, because it truly is the most customizable form of social media out there.

It's a well knowm military fact that when combat happens supplies are always consumed at a greater rate than expected. Sooner or later Stinger Missiles will need to be produced. Who makes the chips for those munitions?

I think that's kind of the point. Everything I read/watch I do so with a filter. For example, even though I'm not a fan of Hunter Biden and Pelosi, as soon as Lara Logan brought them up in her interview, I pretty much knew where she was coming from and took everything else she said with a grain of salt. She was more interested in doing political damage to those two that reporting "the truth".

This is Obama during the Arab Spring
Unfortunately, these countries think that once this is over, Russia is put in their place and everything is good. That's not going to be the case at all. They better stick to the proxy war.

That's been my thought/worry as well. And waiting until the Ukranians have them on the ropes is just a transparent grab at political points. Do what we're doing, if we must, and let the chips fall where they may. Draw your "red line" wherever you see fit, and defend that line if necessary.

Those weapons were produced several years ago.
Ammunition depots are a thing.

Yup. And we’re still dealing with the ramifications of that ridiculous foreign policy adventure. Hell, the conflict in Mali/Niger/Burkina Faso is a direct result of our interference in the Libyan civil war.

With all due respect, you really don't know that, no one does. Just look at recent history, we have sanctioned N. Korea and Iran for decades and yet their leadership has not changed.
North Korea and Iran were not fighting active wars during at the time of their sanctions. Russia is spending an estimated 10 billion USD per day on this conflict. How is it going to pay its mercenaries, its own troops, and riot police when it runs out of foreign currency and the ruble is worth less than a US penny?

It's much easier to not think and just assume everything is a conspiracy theory.

Crazy how these "doves" see other countries getting some while "fighting evil" and all of a sudden need to get that glory so they can have their "legacy".

That's easy when you're on the sidelines.

Nope
Sorry it’s not a Kremlin based site for you to fap to.

The thing is we probably wouldn’t be able to give any support to that effort once it started. IMO the best bet is to stock up those countries with all the new hotness like javelins and stingers for the next few weeks and then completely withdraw from those countries and tell them to go to work on the Russians and then hope for the best.
Probably the best way to save Ukraine, defeat Russia and avoid a nuclear war at this point.
Or I could be completely wrong and am just blowing smoke out of my arse.
