Unlike Stalins these purges are warranted.

Can you explain that? Just curious what you're implying

I think he's saying that, from what we have seen, the Russian military seems to be in piss poor shape and that it is pretty evident embezzlement and other shady shite likely went on for years to get them in that shape. Not to mention their intelligence and war planners didn't seem to be up to snuff on Ukraine. Vlad seems to be taking measures he sees appropriate to remedy the problems.
Stalin was a paranoid nut who just whacked errybody. "Death solves all problems. No man, no problem."

I would not want to be the person who convinced Putin that the Ukrainians would not resist his "special military operation."

Did you have an aneurysm or suffer a personal tragedy recently? Not that you ever came off as bright, but you seem to really have taken a turn for the worse lately. Attributing made up quotes to made up Jewish people is not what normal, mentally healthy people do.
Edit: I'm calling it now... that's GNugget using your profile cause he's banned for spamming this thread. Did he pay you?

If he's arresting intelligence type people he is probably afraid of a move against him. So from his perspective I guess you could say it's warranted - although a lot of it could just be in his mind. From the perspective of the people of Russia and indeed the rest of the world, it depends on who/what would take his place.

Putin cannot fix the problem because he and his people are the problem. He will just replace the generals and FSB agents with other generals and FSB agents whose main qualification is their ability to kiss Putin's arse. Does anyone think that a Red Army general is going to have the balls to tell Putin that 170,000 troops is not going to be enough troops to defeat an army of 600,000 trained soldiers with combat experience and millions of civilians who have been armed with AKs and Molotov cocktails? Do you think any Red air force general is going to have the balls to tell Putin that his air force is not as powerful as he thought it was because Putin and his supporters as well as the generals have stolen the money that was supposed to be spent on developing stealth fighters and advanced electronic jamming?

Makes sense. As a devil's advocate I keep thinking he's solely to blame for siphoning untold billions per year from the war chest to enrich his kingdom and nobles. Ukraine and its people have shone a light to the world that Russia - sans nukes - are shockingly vulnerable. Vladimir RasPutin just may turn to new age dark magic as a last gasp (praying not).

Here come Timmy and Palmetto to tell you how wrong you are and that Putin will rid the world of neo-nazis and globalist by St Patty's day at the latest.

The mayor of Melitopol, Ukraine, has been abducted, officials say
What is known at this point:
Enemies detained Fedorov in the city crisis center, where he dealt with the livelihood of Melitopol. The Ukrainian flag stood in the mayor's office.
During Fedorov's abduction, they put a plastic bag on his head.

Yeah, this morning they reported that be was arrested for essentially not supporting Russians. It was framed as an arrest then. Since, it has become an abduction. Not sure what to make of it other than that ol' baw has had a rough day.

I'm willing to wager a sizable amount that a majority of them are unable to pick Ukraine out on a map.
