UK saying no Russian flagged flights at all
On a side note, are we really to the point that Boris would be a better leader for the circumstances?

Isn't he on borrowed time from his own party right now?

The irony not lost here is that our media‘s constant smearing of Blumpf as “crazy” probably kept the strong men dictators somewhat in line

Any updates on the tactical situation?
The fight around Kyiv, assault on Kharkiv or the advance from Crimea?

Putin thinks more logically than anyone on this message board. Don't fool yourself into thinking this isn't calculated
That’s what’s so scary. He has to have anticipated this global/U.S. response and worse. What’s his endgame knowing he can’t win a global war? What does a desperate, 70-year-old Putin do when we squeeze him so bad economically that it causes tremendous civil unrest and prevents him from access to any real resources to fight back? Is he just playing chicken, thinking we won’t call his bluff? Because if we do, he’s fricked, and what sort of hell would a fricked, but proud Putin unleash on the world?

Baw if a missile lands in a NATO country, by decree we all go.
As a friend of mine wisely put it, it would not be the first or the last treaty to be ignored, broken, or vaguely followed to a point where this wouldn’t happen
Just something to think about

They keep saying that the only reason Putin didn't move on Ukraine is because he was in cahoots with Trump.
But, if Trump was trying to extort the Ukrainians and was in cahoots with Russia, why wouldn't he just give Putin the green light to do what he's doing now?
I'm sure mmmmbeer will be here soon to give an intelligent answer to that.

Time to resurrect a legendary meme for all of the left-wing warmongers:

Not only that but they also believe Biden is a strong leader compared to Trump. In that case why would it make sense for Putin to wait to invade until this supposedly stronger leader was in office?

ChinA has to cross an ocean, too, which complicates things considerably.
Do they, though? The world has shrunk and the oceans don’t provide the same protection they once did. We can be attacked cyberly without anyone even changing chairs. Can be attacked biologically with the importation of just 1 person. I suppose the deterrents to those type attacks are similar to the mutually assured destruction deterrents of firing off nukes. But an attack on our electric grid or banking systems would be devastating.

Moves on to the Baltic States. What does he have to lose at this point?
