The sanctioned-exempt Russian banks just lost their exemptions yesterday. As per US Treasury directive of Jan. 10, Europe can no longer purchase Russian oil & gas to fund Putin's war machine. These exemptions allowed sanctioned Russian banks to process European payments for Russian energy.
I saw someone ask the WH press spokesperson about this yesterday and... it's like she had no idea what she was being asked about...

Its like these blue hair cucks "boycotting" Teslas they could never afford. Totally performative, 0 substance.
Besides the Cybertruck (which has not been a big seller) who do you think bought Teslas in the first place?

Didn’t you say you’d be ok with nukes being used against Russia?
Man, are you crazy? I haven’t; nor do I remember anyone here advocating nukes.
You guys love to dream up these red herrings!

even if you know they won’t accept your offer.
Terms you know someone won't accept are meaningless.
Is offering $1000 for a new Toyota Tundra a meaningful offer? Of course it isn't. Its laughable to pretend otherwise.
Remember how Elon came to own Twitter? He was being a troll and offered an amount, and they accepted!!! Then he tried to get out of it but since he'd done it publically he was screwed and bound, so he had to find a way to raise the money...
He's also screwed Tesla in the past while "tweeting on acid (according to someone who was stuck in his house that weekend)" and throwing out a public offering price for Tesla that was too low...
He was angry at Twitter for the fact that he kept screwing himself with his drug binge tweets, which the SEC would hold him to or fine him for since it had repercussions, and convinced himself he was mad at it for free speech reasons...

As I told Lee B at least two days ago if you want Russia's demands look at what Putin said on June 2024.
No surprise to that. Russia has been stating those terms for months.
Those are the exact same proposals that Putin announced in June 14, 2024. Those are Russia's demands. They are not going to change.
BTW: Demilitarized means an Ukrainian army of 85,000.
If you want peace that is what you will have to accept.
And those terms will be changed if they accept before it is finalized.
I saw a "Russian man on the street" thing yesterday...
"We're winning. Ukraine is totally defeated. It will not exist in a month. Why would Putin settle for peace?"
Putin's internal propaganda has created a situation where he can't settle...

I distinctly remember you saying you'd be okay with nukes being used by Ukraine on Russia.

Ukraine doesn’t have nukes, if they did Russia wouldn’t have attacked them,
But if they had nukes, and I was on the brink of destruction I would certainly use them. The US would, Russia would, China, France and any nation fighting for survival would too.

No Putin did not agree to a ceasefire, he agreed to the idea of one if Russian preconditions are met.
Wait, Vol said they did; it is he now saying the plan was meaningless?

That's not the question, it was whether or not you'd be ok with it.
I get some of the reasons why Russia invaded Ukraine. Doesn't mean I'm ok with it.

BREAKING: Putin ready for ceasefire but demands 'guarantees' depriving Ukraine of aid
by Kateryna Denisova March 13, 2025 6:15 PM
Russia is ready to agree to the U.S.-proposed ceasefire in Ukraine but demands guarantees that Kyiv will not mobilize or train troops, nor receive military aid during it, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on March 13.
Speaking at a press conference with Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko, Putin said that the end of hostilities should "address the original causes of the crisis," parroting the Kremlin's long-standing narrative about its all-out war against Ukraine.

It is now. They had several price cuts AFTER Musk bought Twitter and pissed off the liberals by suggesting free speech was good and should exist.

How many times have I said in this thread the biggest leverage, really the only leverage, we have over Russia is oil?
(And why was Biden allowing this in the first place? Was he the real Putin Puppet??)
And by the way, for all their bluster about “standing” with Ukraine, Europe has done more to help Putin during the war than they have to help Ukraine…

The EU is spending more money on Russian fossil fuels than on financial aid to Ukraine, a report marking the third anniversary of the invasion has found.
EU member states bought €21.9bn (£18.1bn) of Russian oil and gas in the third year of the war, according to estimates from the Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air (Crea), despite the efforts under way to kick the continent’s addiction to the fuels that fund Vladimir Putin’s war chest.
The amount is one-sixth greater than the €18.7bn the EU allocated to Ukraine in financial aid in 2024, according to a tracker from the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (IfW Kiel).
