That shite for brains is wrong again. He is binge posting again.
In a way I wish that General Bill would come back. He at least kept Lunatic Keith in line. He is unhinged now.

ISW Update March 9 2025

Russian forces are collapsing the northern part of the Ukrainian salient in Kursk Oblast following several days of intensified Russian activity in the area.
The temporal correlation between the suspension of US intelligence sharing with Ukraine and the start of Russia's collapse of the Ukrainian Kursk salient is noteworthy.
The collapse of the Ukrainian lines in the Kursk salient is not because of suspension of US intelligence sharing. It’s not because of suspension of US aid. It’s because the Ukrainians are overextended and lack the manpower to hold their positions.

I think our actions do hurt, but I think it’s a coincidence. Russia stsrted these actions weeks ago.
Now things will only get worse unless Ttump changed his mind.
He said he wanted to end the killing, but so far he has just ratcheted things up. All this stuff about a minerals deal is just hocus-pocus locus.
It wiuld have been better for Ukrsine if Trump had made it clear that if he was elected he would cut Ukraine off completely. Pretending to be a mediator was phoney baloney. He couldn’t do a thing.

There are only two things that can stop things getting much worse for Ukraine.
1. A ceasefire followed by a peace agreement.
2. The West mobilizing a force of at least Army Group size and sending them to the front line as active combatants.
No amount of aid or intelligence can make up for the fact the Ukrainians are rapidly reaching the breaking point from a manpower shortage.

China imposes 100% tariffs on select Canadian imports.
Yes... those are retaliatory tariffs for tariffs Canada placed on China, last year, at the urging of the US...
What will the result be, do you think?

That was my hope when Trump got involved, but I’m guessing Putin told him to take a hike and tgst was it.

I can’t see Europe doing that, and we certainly aren’t.
I think Ukraine with Europe’s help eill stand stout for another year as tgry get ground down and Russia makes them surrender.

“Despite China’s repeated opposition and dissuasion, Canada has taken unilateral restrictive measures on electric vehicles, steel, aluminum and other products imported from China without investigation, undermining China-Canada economic and trade relations,” read the statement by the customs authorities.
...
Canada announced tariffs on Chinese goods last August following similar duties being imposed by the U.S. and the European Union against Chinese-made EVs and other products. The Western governments say China’s subsidies give its industry an unfair advantage.
AP News: China imposes retaliatory tariffs on Canadian farm and food products
So, now that the US cannot be trusted as a trade partner and Canada is forced to shift to China, China gets them to eliminate these tariffs.
Thanks, Trump.
in case you can't figure it out, Trump is pushing Canada to have retaliatory tariffs against US tariffs... China is taking advantage of that to get Canada to agree to both drop tariffs.

You have been constantly posting stuff that has nothing to do with the Ukraine/Russia War. If you want to post China/Canada Trade deals or Tesla sales in Canada post that stuff on the appropriate boards. Your last warning

Didn’t you just say Canada imposed tariffs LAST YEAR?
Do you think Trump was POTUS last year?

Who are you to warn anyone?

I'm saying Trump screwed up that tariff plan that the US, Canada and EU had to protect themselves against China's subsidies giving them an unfair advantage in those areas. The Canadian tariifs against China were a good thing for that reason.
Oh no, now by answering your question I've violated John Barron's final warning!!!

I'm thinking he meant he'll lift the pause when Russia wins...

The Hill: Republicans press Trump to resume military, intelligence aid to Ukraine
Republican lawmakers are starting to urge President Trump to reverse his decisions to pause U.S. military and intelligence assistance to Ukraine, warning that a prolonged stoppage of U.S. help for the war effort would have a seriously detrimental effect.
I wonder if this is why Trump said the pause was almost done?
The Hill: Graham on Ukraine aid pause: ‘If we pull the plug on Ukraine, it’d be worse than Afghanistan’
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said on Sunday he is worried about the consequences of suspending aid and intelligence sharing to Ukraine as the fighting continues against Russia.
“Yeah, I am worried about cutting off intelligence and weapons to Ukraine as long as the fighting is going on,” Graham said on Fox News Channel’s “Fox News Sunday.”
“If we pull the plug on Ukraine, it’d be worse than Afghanistan. I don’t think President Trump has any desire to do that,” he continued. “But until we have a ceasefire, I would give Ukraine what they need in terms of intelligence and weapons to themselves.”
...
Graham said Sunday he will be introducing legislation to “sanction the hell out of” Russia if they don’t come to the negotiating table.
I wonder if this is why Trump mentioned sanctions recently?

Pressure has to come from both sides. If Trump just threatens and punishes Zelensky it will just embolden Putin.
The problem is: I'm not sure what Trump can do to make Putin stop. Putin doesn't want to stop. He thinks he's winning. He thinks he can sustain this course indefinitely. He's already been sanctioned. His commodity exports have already been cut off. He's already been removed from the international banking system. He's already been charged with war crimes.
What else does Trump have?
The only thing I can think of that would make Putin reconsider is to give Ukraine EVEN MORE military aid. Which most Trump supporters don't want.
So I'm not really sure what his end game is. I'm not sure that he knows either.
It reminds me of his trade war strategy. "Create confusion and chaos, because anything is better than the status quo."

"US shares intelligence with Ukraine for defense, not for attacks on Russian troops, CNN reports "
quote:
Aboard Air Force One, Trump announces the U.S. intelligence-sharing pause with Ukraine is “just about lifted.”
More bullshite, but there's a reason he said this. Also notice this is a direct quote, not just a comment from the famous 'anonymous source inside the administration'.
quote:
U.S. President Donald Trump has privately made it clear to his aides that he will not resume providing military aid and intelligence to Ukraine even if Kyiv and Washington sign a minerals deal, NBC News reported on March 9, citing an unnamed Trump administration official and another American official.
Here's the aforementioned 'unnamed Trump administration official'. But here we get the unvarnished truth. There's no more 'deal' now, never has been. No security, no support. Just attempted robbery. But Zelensky is giving Donnie the middle finger on this so now the fifth grader has to salve his hurt feelings of rejection. But with the truth...? No insults, no bullshite, no double down on the proposed 'deal'? Who the hell is in charge here? We can expect more talk about the 'deal' this week, from those living in an alternate reality trying to give it CPR.
