I don’t have a great memory. Link all the posts here stating Syria would work with the US.
Your memory is obviously way better than mine.
I just remember celebrating that Russia was pulling out... and lost a ship full of equipment in the process.

Seems Russia has surrounded ukranians in Kursk except for a "Falaise Gap" killing field. And at the border they will find the Russians have blown up the bridge to prevent an escape back to ukraine.
You wanted to come into the Motherland, you shall die in the Motherland.
And while you wasted man and material on this folly, your center is collapsing, Russia in now on the southern outskirts of Pokrovsk, and pounding the snot out of Odessa to the south.
Seems cargo pants profound ineptness at PR is only surpassed by his lack of any common sense in managing the battlefront.
I fear he has waited too long to come to the table. In the words of Alexander the Great, why should I negotiate for something I can take myself?

After the first unverified reports that Russians used a defunct gas pipeline to infiltrate Sudzha, and were subsequently crushed by Ukrainian forces, Z-bloggers are now openly criticizing the operation as another failure of the Russian military:
Reportedly, the Russian command claimed that all preparations for the operation were made, including logistics, ventilation, and communications. In reality, none of this was done.
As a result, some Russian soldiers allegedly suffocated to death or got methane poisoning from the residual gas in the pipe. They reportedly spent up to 4 days inside.
When the advance groups emerged, they were picked off by Ukrainian artillery. Russian war correspondents blamed the command for poor organization of the operation, as well as the soldiers themselves, who widely documented their journey through the pipe on social media.
Lack of organization aside - Putin continues to use pipelines for aggression and attacks from the rear against Europe. If it's not gas, then it's soldiers...

I'm thinking as far as protection from Ukrainian drones is concerned, the safest place in Russia is located next to a vodka distillery and bottling plant.

HTS now has a history of several years of tolerance in the areas it controls.
Here's some HTS info from Wassim Nasr that backs that up and also provides some evidence that they have rejected global jihad.

If HTS does gain power in Syria, its not like the west is going to work with them.
Of course the West will work with them. The West has every reason to work with them, as long as they don't start persecuting minorities. Which, honestly, I think is going to be the case.

Neither of those comments you quoted actually said

I remember when the Ukraine pumpers were telling us the new Syrian regime would work with us.
How long did you waste digging for them?

I believe the point of what he’s saying is that Ukraine’s ability to achieve its war aims via feat of arms has diminished to the point there is no point to keep fighting. And the longer the fighting goes, the more ground Ukraine will lose, so it’s better to make peace as soon as possible.

Is still not

The first is clearly saying we would work with them. Your statement is in regards to them working with us. These are in fact 2 different things. The first statement even came with a very specific caveat they appear to have failed on.

The proposal to create it was made by Canada, which holds the G7 presidency this year, but the US did not support it.
In particular, the US insisted on removing the word "sanctions".

So you are suggesting, by your logic, that he was saying we are going to work with someone who won't work with us? Do you think we are retarded?
