This is why they gave Ukraine another 60 billion in March of 2024. The Deepstate knew they had lost to Russia but they wanted to delay the collapse and not take the blame.

Rubio, Musk clash with Polish FM over Starlink in Ukraine, accuse him of 'just making things up'
by Sonya Bandouil March 9, 2025 7:55 PM
Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Elon Musk sharply responded to Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski on March 9, dismissing Sikorski’s concerns about Starlink being cut off in the future, and urging him to be thankful for the assistance thus far.
Earlier on March 9, Sikorski stated that Poland will look for alternative suppliers if SpaceX turns out to be an unreliable provider of Starlink satellite internet for Ukraine.
Rubio responded and claimed that Sikorski was "just making things up.”
“No one has made any threats about cutting Ukraine off from Starlink,” Rubio said. “And say thank you because without Starlink, Ukraine would have lost this war long ago and Russians would be on the border with Poland right now."
Musk responded as well, claiming that Poland only pays a “small fraction” of the cost for Ukraine’s Starlink access, even though Warsaw provides half of the total of Ukraine’s 42,000 terminals, at about $50 million per year, according to Sikorski.
“Be quiet, small man. You pay a tiny fraction of the cost,” Musk said. “And there is no substitute for Starlink.”
Previously on March 9, Musk claimed that the entire front line in Ukraine would collapse if he shut off Starlink services.
Both Musk and Rubio have made remarks against Ukrainian officials and Kyiv’s position in recent weeks.
On March 5, Rubio said that Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine is a "proxy war" between Moscow and Washington.
He then blamed President Volodymyr Zelensky for "undermining" Trump's plan in the peace negotiations thus far, following the heated exchange that took place at the White House in late February.
Musk has also made similar statements, and he has amplified Russian disinformation, criticizing Zelensky’s position frequently, and calling for “immediate peace,” while refraining from criticizing Russian President Vladimir Putin for starting the full-scale invasion.

And people wonder why the world is saying the US is siding with Russia
Is anyone really wondering why? I feel like the words and actions of the current US admin are pretty clear.

Trump wants Ukraine to make concessions on territory and hold elections and have Zelenskyy resign from office-NBC
If Ukraine can keep all of Kherson I think they should take a deal that cedes Donetsk and Luhansk.
Without full US support its survive and advance time for Ukraine. Regime change in the US worked out poorly for Ukraine. Perhaps this will look differently whenever there is regime change in Russia and again in the US.

Migrants arrive in Italy en route to England.
The UK is an Island country... it has the most control over immigrants of any country in Europe. It is also no longer a part of the EU, so its borders are not open like the rest of the internal countries in the continent.
So the NAZIs could not cross the English channel undetected but immigrants are?

There has been a big drop in the number of visas for health and care workers arriving in the UK, despite a shortage in NHS staff

So we're joining the Axis of Evil because of Trump's man-crush on Putin, love affair with Kim, "respect" for Xi, and his fragile ego?

In the aftermath of 9/11, Ukraine, a non-NATO ally, sent troops to Afghanistan and Iraq—not because we had to, but because we stood with our US partners and allies in a moment of need. There was no question.
When the West needed us, we were there.
Putin better be a friend indeed who values his "relationship" with Trump more than his economic lifelines from China, because as long as Trump or Vance is in power nobody is joining our side for anything.

The Russians won’t give up anything they control, that’s irrational. And the Ukrainians would have to withdraw from land they control, to persuade the Russians to end the war
The following may be a distraction, but it could also be serious

It's off topic, but then it's not off topic.
"... the secretaries would be in charge; the Musk team would only advise." Boom.
We know Trump reverses his decisions as often as he changes his socks so this probably isn't it for Elon. Yet. Most Trump watchers gave him a full six months before he got the ax. But Trump did make a decision and it wasn't with Musk. That's called setting a precedent under duress. The duress being hundreds of GOP candidates running for re-election in 2026. Clock is ticking.
When it happens, Musk will learn how it's done in DC - over a couple of weeks many negative stories about his eminently unlikeable business and personal life will be leaked to the press. He will be increasingly isolated from Trump ("Sorry, he can't meet you now / is in a meeting / is getting his hair done..." etc.) Then other Cabinet members and their staff will just ignore him. Bye bye Space Boy.

The president made clear he still supported the mission of the Musk initiative. But now was the time, he said, to be a bit more refined in its approach.
From now on, he said, the secretaries would be in charge; the Musk team would only advise.

And since Musk is as thin-skinned and holds a grudge as much as Trump, the richest man in the world then tries to screw with the President of the US... possibly does things to aid China even more.
