China and Russia have been touting a partnership that pushes for "a multipolar world" where the US is not solely dominant since Xi took power in 2014...

I’m guessing Zelensky said no to a peace deal
Someone has probably (?) done the math, but how long could they hold out without aid? Could they do a month? This coupled with a Starlink shutdown would lead to a collapse along the front lines.

History is gonna look back at this run from Obama-Trump-Biden-Trump as where we collectively shite ourselves as a nation and became a bunch of idiots fighting against each other rather than working to better ourselves....(speaking for the actual Americans here).
I blame the internet. We just have too many morons who are unable to think for themselves. Too easily to manipulate their thoughts with 24 hour news, internet message boards, podcasts, and collective social media.

so partisan activity would make sense... but they exist under Putin agreeing to turn a blind eye in exchange for payoffs, so getting rid of him would possibly screw things up for them.
