Instructors from the Carpathian Sich arrived to train the territorial defense of the 103rd brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and give instructions on how important it is to remain vigilant and be on guard against the Russians.

They got so carried away that they missed the attack by Russian drones.

As a result, half of the group (10 out of 20) are wounded and at least one is now giving instructions to Bandera.

up to 1/2 of all weapons?

A2A, armor, artillery?

If that's the case, they should be marching on Mexico City and across the border.

Tucker has gone off the rails.....

Russia Warns EU Against Seizing Its Tankers in the Baltic Sea.

Moscow has issued a warning to the #European Union following reports that EU countries bordering the Baltic Sea are considering legal measures to detain Russian oil tankers.

"Any attack on our transport vessels in the Baltic Sea should be considered an attack on Russian territory," said Alexei Zhuravlyov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Defense Committee.

He dismissed the idea that the naval forces of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania could pose a threat to #Russia.

"This is nothing more than a farce. Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania combined have such 'powerful' navies that two large-caliber machine guns mounted on any tanker would be enough to sink their entire maritime patrol. They will, of course, turn to NATO for help. But I hope there are more rational minds in the U.S., which effectively controls the alliance," Zhuravlyov stated.

His comments come after Politico reported that EU nations with access to the Baltic Sea are developing legal mechanisms to seize Russian vessels they claim are part of the so-called "shadow fleet."

The mighty Russian navy. A three day Baltic Sea operation I’m sure.

That is a cute picture. No country, let alone NATO, is intimidated by the Russian navy.

They probably said the same about the Ukrainian navy.

The current makeup of Russia's Baltic Fleet

Primary Surface Combatants
Project 11540 (Neustrashimy-class) Frigates
Neustrashimy – Lead ship of the class. After a lengthy overhaul, various reports indicate she has returned to limited service, though the status can be fluid.
Yaroslav Mudry – Generally considered operational and active in the Baltic Fleet.

Project 20380 (Steregushchiy-class) Corvettes
Steregushchiy – Lead ship of the class. In active service.
Soobrazitelny – Entered service around 2011; homeported in the Baltic Fleet.
Boikiy – Commissioned in 2013.
Stoikiy – Commissioned in 2014.
(Additional ships of this class—such as Retiviy or Strogiy—have been under construction or sea trials; assignments sometimes change between fleets, so their final basing can vary.)

Project 956 (Sovremenny-class) Destroyer
Nastoichivyy – This ship has been widely reported to be in reduced readiness or undergoing modernization. Although historically a Baltic Fleet flagship, its operational status is uncertain. Some sources list it as inactive or used mainly in a training/support role.

A total available force of 2 Frigates and 4 Corvettes. Given the stellar performance of the Black Sea Fleet in the war thus far, I think we can expect to see several smoking accidents if this mighty fleet deploys.

Russia does not have an effective navy anymore.

The very concept of a Navy has been changed.

No industrial capacity to support it

Agreed, we cannot replenish war stocks in the volumes needed to support our own military. Yea, we are upping the volume of 155mm shells, but that is just one thing from a list of thousands.

I know that you like to speak in platitudes and sound bites, as opposed to facts and figures. I know those are inconvenient to you. But let me give you a few to ponder.

The value of the US manufacturing output in 2024 was about $2.5 trillion.

Russia was about $250 billion. And that's two years into a war time manufacturing economy.

So our manufacturing base is at least 10x that of Russia's. And it's way bigger in important sectors like aircraft, engines, computer chips, tires, imagery systems, medical devices, etc

In Russia, in a wartime economy, manufacturing represents about 12% of their GDP.

In the US, in a peace time economy, manufacturing represents about 11% of our GDP. So basically the same.

The combined GDP of the US, EU, UK, and Japan/Australia is about 35 TIMES the GDP of Russia.

I read this bullshite that you and Trinidad post saying "Russia out produces all of NATO" and "the US doesn't have the industrial base to keep up with Russia".

You're wrong. You know you're wrong, but you don't care. Either because someone is paying you to spew lies. Or because the truth is somehow inconvenient to the way you want to world to be. Either way, you're an idiot. And you don't know what you're talking about.

ETA: Here's another way to look at it economically: Russia is spending about 8% of its GDP annually to prosecute this war. The US is spending about .15% of its GDP to prevent Russia from capturing UKraine and over running the country.

Which one of us can keep this up the longest?

"We dont have the manufacturing capacity to keep up."

What a fricking idiot.
