Exactly as it should be and any competent ceo will want the business they take over audited on day one. It’s good business practice.

If people seriously thought Russia could be forced out of Crimea then they were obviously wrong just like the people who say the war is over now are wrong.
Ukraine could "force" Russia out of Crimea by preventing any deliveries, especially water (they've somewhat done that since 2014).The optimism in that time was based on thinking the Ukes could sever the "land bridge" while also destroying the Kerch bridge and sinking any ships that try to deliver supplies. As it is, Russia has a hard time with water in Crimea in the best times.

My point is the super missile is of no consequence unless it can be used successfully to gain advantages. Apparently it can not.
That was for Europe and the US to go "oh, no!!! The Russians have a new supermissile that could hit us! We should not be supporting Ukraine!!!"

I agree, all show. Besides Russia already has enough missiles to blow Europe up multiple times.

NATO has ramped up presence after recent string of outages
STOCKHOLM/VILNIUS, Jan 26 (Reuters) - An undersea fibre optic cable between Latvia and Sweden was damaged on Sunday, likely as a result of external influence, Latvia said, prompting NATO to deploy patrol ships to the area and triggering a sabotage investigation by Swedish authorities.
Sweden's Security Service has seized control of a vessel as part of the probe, the country's prosecution authority said.
"We are now carrying out a number of concrete investigative measures, but I cannot go into what they consist of due to the ongoing preliminary investigation," senior prosecutor Mats Ljungqvist said in a statement.

“There are two million unemployed in Ukraine, but a number of industries are ‘suffocating’ from a lack of personnel,” — head of the Ukrainian Economic Discussion Club Oleg Pendzin.
Where did all the workers go? Particularly drivers, who are now in critically short supply? Well, Kiev's “solution” seems pretty clear: kidnap men from the streets, workplaces, and even bus stations to send them to the warfront.
Just ask the passengers at Odessa Privoz bus station, where six police squads showed up to detain ONE bus driver. This is how Ukraine “solves” its labor shortages—by forcing workers to die for its failing war effort."

Yuriy Butusov says the 153rd Mechanized Brigade has suffered similar problems to the 155th, including a large number of AWOL cases after the brigade returned from Germany, a lack of UAVs and C-UAS systems, lack of experienced commanders, insufficient training, soldiers were pulled to other brigades during its formation, and command and control problems. The 153rd also received Bradley IFVs, but they are struggling to maintain them.

An audit by the United States Inspector General says the Department of Defense didn’t properly document more than $1 billion in payments to Ukraine following Russia’s 2022 invasion of Kyiv.
The audit, which reviewed $2.1 billion funds approved for Ukraine that year, found that more than half of the payments, roughly 67%, lacked paperwork or were improperly recorded.

No doubt Putin is just trying to protect Stalin's legacy of Russian influence and population in Latvia. Of course, Latvia is deep in the process of de-Russifying their country. Like most of the former Soviet satellites, they don't ever want to have to sniff Russian asses again.

Hey, I'm trying to help the Deep State, but I want to make sure that I'm following the right orders. Who's the current leader of the Deep State? Or is it ruled by a secret council?

There is no “leader”. I can understand though why you are asking such basic, low level questions. As always, we won’t fault you for ignorance.

So, how am I supposed to know what to do to help the Deep State? There's got to be a leader somehow ... or maybe it's run by a secret council? In any case, I want to get on their email list, or at least follow them on twitter. But you are right that I'm so ignorant about how to get involved. Can anyone help me?
