People went wild over the coverage and access to video we had for the first time during the Gulf War but this is next level stuff.

Sounds weird, but the spread of cell phone cams and getting all these eye-witness accounts only helps Ukraine because of how easily it brings the horrors of war to everyone - more so than Vietnam, the Gulf War, or the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Now, we've seen horrible videos of war posted before so I'm not saying it will change much - but it definitely allows global sentiment across the globe to build against Russia if stuff like this keeps coming out.
ETA: And puts the pressure on governments to do something about it.
