Have we talked about the impending change in the German government?? Scholz's government has collapsed, and Germany is headed for new elections in January, with opposition leader Merz currently favored to win ... and he wants to give Taurus to Ukraine.

Their demographic collapse will render them a non-functioning (an indefensible) country in 10 years... so...

Trump went after nations which didn't carry their fair share, that's it.

Trump was tough on Iran, Obama and Biden only appeased Iran.

Trump did a lot to get NorK to back down.

Anyone who thinks that Trump is going to go easy on Russia has bought the Russia Hoax hook line and sinker.

...

I can only go by what his cabinet members say he tried to do... you don't believe them... so?

We will see if he goes easy on Russia or not.

Trump has carrots he can offer, ending sanctions, recognizing the new borders, but he doesn’t have a lot of sticks.

The sticks he has are significant. The primary being, taking the handcuffs off Ukraine's use of US weapons.

In your eyes, what are those handcuffs, and why are they significant

And yes, I'm being socratic here

A big carrot is Putin doesn’t have to give into Joe Biden. Playing along with Trump is an opening Putin could take and save face.

He could provide conventional weapons that act as a deterrent. The US has plenty of long range cruise missiles.

We and Europe have thousands of Bradley Fighting Vehicles and F16's. There are also thousands of experienced F16 pilots as potential contractors along with maintenance crews. Half of Europe is replacing their F16's with F35's so there are a great many available.

Then too, there are thousands of Abrams, but they have proven vulnerable to drones. Perhaps DARPA and the defense industry has need of some new anti-drone equipped Abrams and Bradleys that they need to test under real world conditions.

Trump is not a surrender monkey. Never has been. He'll try and make a deal, but not from a weak position.

We actually have a shortage

In a war with China we would run out on day six or seven.

It's true that the Pentagon wasted a bunch of extremely expensive missiles to strike the Houthis, when we have bombs that are comparatively dirt cheap that we could drop from jets, and the Houthis don't have anything that could shoot our planes down.

But that's not how our military thinks.

Trump could ship more armor which was retired 30+ years ago. It is more than Russia has in its entire military as well as more modern.

A lot of that is already in Europe along with many F16's.

I called this one months ago. Anyone could see that coming. Scholz was as weak as Biden.

Biden - Out
Scholz Out
Kamala- Crushed and out

The next one will be Starmer in GB.

If Putin agrees to a peace deal, the war economy stops and Russia collapses. Putin gets hung upside down somewhere in public.
