NATO has thousands of F16's with experienced pilots and maintenance crews. Ukraine should be allowed to hire a couple of hundred of them as contractors.
That would move the needle.

Putin would see that, as well as Ukraine being allowed to strike into Russia with western weapons, as NATO officially joining the war.
So, frick it... just let NATO join the war?

Some more detail here
Is this the war that is "prosecuted in a Christian manner" that Winston and Lima have been so adamantly in favor of?
Aren't they also decrying the inflation we've all been subject to that stems in part from increased shipping costs?
quote:
Russia provided targeting data for Yemen’s Houthi rebels as they attacked Western ships in the Red Sea with missiles and drones earlier this year, helping the Iranian-backed group assault a major artery for global trade and further destabilizing the region.
The Houthis, which began their attacks late last year over the Gaza war, eventually began using Russian satellite data as they expanded their strikes, said a person familiar with the matter and two European defense officials. The data was passed through members of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, who were embedded with the Houthis in Yemen, one of the people said.
The assistance, which hasn’t been previously reported, shows how far Russian President Vladimir Putin is willing to go to undermine the U.S.-led Western economic and political order. Russia, in this case, supported the Iran-backed Houthis, which the U.S. designates as a terrorist group, as they carried out a series of attacks in one of the world’s most heavily traveled shipping routes.

That would be Russia making a decision to escalate - not NATO forcing a war.

As we keep saying, it's all one war. Lima is probably fine with that, because he hates Jews enough that he probably supports Iran/Hamas/Hezbollah/Iran.
Winston says that he opposes them, but he is obviously in favor of strengthening the Norks, the Houthis, Hamas, etc.

Key Takeaways:
Russian President Vladimir Putin failed to deny the presence of North Korean military personnel in Russia on October 24, amid official Ukrainian reports that the first North Korean military units arrived in Kursk Oblast on October 23.
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko strongly hinted that Belarusian forces will not fight in Ukraine and appeared to question Russian President Vladimir Putin's likely efforts to introduce North Korean forces into Russia's war against Ukraine in the process.
The Kremlin is reportedly attempting to portray the BRICS summit in Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan as evidence of widespread international support for Russia – especially to domestic audiences in Russia.
Russian President Vladimir Putin attempted to project Russian confidence in the Russian military's ability to repel the Ukrainian incursion into Kursk Oblast at a press conference after the BRICS summit on October 24.
Ukrainian authorities are investigating another execution of Ukrainian prisoners of war (POWs) by Russian forces in the Pokrovsk direction against the backdrop of Russian forces' increasingly frequent POW executions across the theater.
Ukrainian forces recently advanced in Kursk Oblast and near Toretsk and Pokrovsk.
Russian forces recently advanced near Kreminna and Siversk.
The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD), Ministry of Defense (MoD), and Rosgvardia reportedly each have their own Akhmat units that perform different functions in different sectors of the front and rear.

For sure Biden needs to allow Ukraine to use long range weaponry to strike targets in Russia.
He has like two months left in office and will be busy pardoning his son.

Prisoner executions tend to backfire by making soldiers fight to the death rather than surrender.

British Defence Intelligence
INTELLIGENCE UPDATE
UPDATE ON UKRAINE
25 October 2024
Russian Land Forces (RLF) have almost certainly advanced into the coal mining town of Selydove, around 13km southeast from the major logistics hub of Pokrovsk. The town remains contested, with fighting likely continuing to take place within the town centre. Selydove is the last significant urban area screening the southern flank of Pokrovsk as well as the E50 highway - which connects Selydove to Pokrovsk.
Since the beginning of October 2024, the RLF rate of advance towards Pokrovsk had slowed significantly, with the RLF remaining within approximately 7km of the city. The RLF have recently directed resources towards the southern part of the axis, targeting Selydove and partially encircling the town. Russia likely aims to use the E50 highway as a secondary route of advance to Pokrovsk if Selydove is taken.

Musk has been in contact with Putin, Russian officials since 2022, WSJ reports
by Martin Fornusek October 25, 2024 9:42 AM
Business tycoon Elon Musk, one of the richest people in the world, has been in regular contact with Russian President Vladimir Putin and other Kremlin officials since late 2022, the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported on Oct. 25, citing undisclosed official sources.
Former and current European, U.S., and Russian officials told the WSJ that Musk has held further conversations with Putin and other high-ranking Kremlin officials since late 2022.
This reportedly included Sergei Kiriyenko, Putin's first deputy chief of staff, who has been named as the top figure of Russian propaganda and disinformation activities.
Putin also asked Musk not to activate Starlink over Taiwan as a favor to Beijing, which claims the island as its sovereign territory, the WSJ wrote. Starlink is currently not active in Taiwan.
The Kremlin has denied communicating with Musk, and White House officials told the WSJ they are not aware of it. Musk did not respond to the WSJ's request for comment.
According to the WSJ, the contacts are a well-kept secret in the U.S. government due to Musk's access to sensitive information as a major security and technology contractor.
SpaceX, which operates Starlink, was awarded a classified $1.8 billion contract in 2021, reportedly to build a network of spy satellites for U.S. intelligence.

The Israelis are the big losers here, although the USN takes a prestige hit.
Ultimately for me, if it hurts the neocons and accelerates their end, I would probably support it.

So if the USA were toppled by a foreign power and replaced with an Islamic capahate, you would be ok with it becuase it removes the status quo from power?
And to be specific to this particular issue: You support Russian efforts to use the Houthis to fire Iranian missiles to sink neutral merchant vessels in international waters? Vessels carrying food, fuel, machine parts, commodities, and other goods that keep the world economy going? Thus plunging the world into a depression and sending prices spiraling higher for consumers worldwide? A stagflation crisis that would ultiamtely be unraveled by igniting a WW3 scenario of armed internvetion by the US and EU in the Middle East? A scenario that would do nothing by strengthen the MIC and the Neocons who you claim to oppose?
You understand that the Houthi rebellion and the power that Iran projects through it is an absolute wet dream for the MIC and the Neocons, right?

Can’t be. I read that Russians never had it so good. The economy is great. The war and sanctions have launched a boom in Moscow.

That’s on the shipping companies. They shouldn’t try and run the Houthis naval blockade of Israel.
Not worth it
