Why do you think the Ukrainian War will end in 10 to 100 days?

So is Trump just going to do whatever Putin says again now?

You guys flip flop back and forth so often on whether a Trump win would be good for Ukraine or not, just trying to see where we are this week.

Thanks!

Since you don't seem to pay attention

the general consensus here among the Pro-Ukrainian crowd is that Trump will offer Putin some settlement... and if Putin doesn't agree, Trump will give Ukraine whatever they need to defeat him.

A few of us think that's unlikely and that Trump will just abandon Ukraine... and NATO.

Then some of the pro-Russian types say Trump will pull the plug on Ukraine,

So I'm actually in agreement with the likes of Sir Winston on what is going to happen if Trump wins.

And Poland says it will instantly strike St. Petersburg if the Baltic states are invaded.

I am of the opinion that if the US cuts off aide to Ukraine it makes it quite likely Poland enters the conflict in support of Ukraine.

I am not sure where it would go from there...

Polish General warns of immediate strike on St. Petersburg if Russia attacks NATO

if Russian forces cross the border into Lithuania, within the "first minute," allies will target all of Russia’s strategic assets within a 300-kilometer radius.

“We will strike directly at St. Petersburg,” Andrzejczak declared.

To prepare for such a scenario, Poland is currently purchasing 800 missiles with a range of up to 900 kilometers, which will be deployed if Russia attacks.

If the Russians did invade the Baltics, would you be man enough to admit that YOUR administration of Obama/Biden/Harris is at fault? They didn't stop them when they had the chance. Total and complete failure. 2014 and again in 2022 to the present day. Biden bitches about Obama not taking Putin seriously and blamed him for this mess. But Biden hired Obama's people and they have been running his Ukraine policy. Biden logic I guess.

If Trump is such a Putin lover like you say, why didn't Putin run wild and take Ukraine, Moldova or the Baltics when Trump was in? According to your logic he should have had a green light. He invaded Ukraine when your boys were in office. Both times I might add.

Are you stupid enough to believe that Russia could invade Nato? They have had a hard enough time in defeating Ukraine even with the total Biden/Harris fricked up policies. That is a joke.

You are a Leftwing Extremist neocon. A John Bolton with his nuts cut off.

You can't even form coherent insults at this point.

And yes, Obama did screw up with Crimea... I don't believe he would've been able to actually do much to stop Putin, because America was just suddenly exhausted from the Bush/Cheney adventures and would've lost its collective mind, but he did just shrug it off... a non-nuclear Iran was more important to him. Of course the very stable genius who came next scuttled that deal...

Why would Putin need to invade Ukraine if Trump was undermining NATO?

“I went in yesterday and there was a television screen, and I said, ‘This is genius,’ Putin declares a big portion of the Ukraine — of Ukraine. Putin declares it as independent. Oh, that’s wonderful. So, Putin is now saying, ‘It’s independent,’ a large section of Ukraine. I said, ‘How smart is that?’ And he’s gonna go in and be a peacekeeper. That’s strongest peace force … We could use that on our southern border.”

“Here’s a guy that says, you know, ‘I’m gonna declare a big portion of Ukraine independent’ — he used the word ‘independent’ — ‘and we’re gonna go out and we’re gonna go in and we’re gonna help keep peace,’ You gotta say that’s pretty savvy.”

Russia Raises Interest Rate to 21 Percent, Its Highest in Decades

Russia’s central bank raised the cost of borrowing in the country to its highest level in more than two decades on Friday in an effort to slow inflation that is being fueled by record military

quote:

It was the third increase in a row, and Elvira Nabiullina, the central bank’s president, said that interest rates could rise further later this year.

“We don’t see inflationary pressures slowing down,” Ms. Nabiullina, who maintains some policy independence from the Kremlin, told reporters after announcing the new rate.

quote:

Ms. Nabiullina implicitly blamed Russia’s war in Ukraine for the continued price increases. She said the Kremlin’s decision to raise spending by $15.5 billion next year, mostly to cover war-related costs, was overheating the economy and feeding inflation.

Yeah. Everybody with a brain knows that the deep state tried to assassinate Trump, and that Trump is liable to wreck shop. That changed everything.

Did you realize that Obama did nothing in regards to Crimea because he needed the Russians to get his Iran Nuclear Deal? Anyone with a brain knows this. How is the Obama/Biden/Harris policy of supporting those Iranian centrists turned out? The problem is there are no Iranian centrists.

But what about your administration of Biden/Harris? How have they handled this war? How would you rate their performance? You are screaming that Putin will invade the Baltics. If your fantasy world comes true, who is to blame? Why haven't Joe and Kampala stopped him?

Reading comprehension isn't your strong suit, I guess... yes, I know that, I alluded to it in my post... since everybody knows that I didn't think I had to say it again for the 1000th time, But I guess I was wrong.

ISW Update Oct 25th

quote:

Key Takeaways:

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned that Russia will imminently deploy North Korean forces to unspecified combat zones on October 27 and 28, as Russian and North Korean officials continued to issue vague yet suggestive statements regarding the possible presence of North Korean troops in Russia.

Russian President Vladimir Putin signaled that Western “Ukraine fatigue” is encouraging Russia to continue its full-scale invasion of Ukraine and pursue its theory of victory predicated on Russia outlasting Western support for Ukraine.

Putin also continued to exaggerate Russian progress in Kursk Oblast, likely in an attempt to reassure domestic audiences of the Russian military's ability to suppress Ukraine's incursion into Kursk Oblast.

Russian President Vladimir Putin promoted former Donetsk People’s Republic (DNR) “Sparta” Battalion Commander and Plenipotentiary Representative in the Urals Lieutenant Colonel Artyom Zhoga to the Russian Security Council, likely in an ongoing effort to establish younger, pro-war figures within the Kremlin.

Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov claimed that Russia does not seek to “influence” elections of other countries "unlike the West" amid continued evidence to the contrary.

Russian authorities swiftly responded to xenophobic riots in Korkino, Chelyabinsk Oblast on October 25, a marked change from Russian authorities' slow and disorganized response to the October 2023 antisemitic riots in the Republic of Dagestan.

German arms manufacturer Rheinmetall announced on October 24 that it recently delivered 20 additional Marder infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine and noted that Germany financed the delivery of the vehicles.

Ukrainian forces advanced near Borki and regained lost territory near Chasiv Yar and Toretsk.

Russian forces advanced near Siversk, Pokrovsk, and regained territory near Obukhovka.

The Kremlin is continuing to forge new state-affiliated veteran societies and organizations likely in an ongoing effort to replace veteran organizations that have been critical of Russia’s conduct of war in Ukraine
