Silicon Tiger, I agree. His “according to plan” statements are bullshite and guarantee him being convicted as a war criminal. He knows that.

Some people think Putin is some type of war god or genius. He is purely and completely a creature of the KGB anti terrorist unit and really not a damn thing to do with the Russian military. He has never seen or been in military combat, or a military unit to best of my knowledge. He is basically russian CIA, and intelligence officer and a brutal one. He rose to power by being a ruthless mfer. Terrorist take over a primary school, frick it he attacks, dead school kids no problem to him. (google it)

I have no idea if the Russian military even like him, etc.

But it’s readily apparent they don’t fully support this attack on Ukraine, it’s almost if they were caught off guard by level of resistance, etc too, or lied too.

For a intelligence officer, he either had really bad info or lied to them. I am sure some of Russian military commanders are fuming mad.

I have real sympathy for those Russian soldiers too, this isn’t their fault. The look like scared teenagers

It’s because people don’t have sense enough to reconcile that everyone doesn’t feel the need to state the obvious before they start to analyze the why and the how. In the end it wouldn’t matter anyway. You could have said you hate Putin and this is wrong from the start, but the next comment where you question how we got here or how things may not be going as reported you are a Putin lover anyway.

People have let the minority crazies affect their view of anyone with a different opinion. They’re no different than the mask and vaccine Nazis. It’s what our society has become.
