The warmongering in this thread is wild.
There is nothing “unlibertarian” about wanting America to stay out of this conflict.
The pressure to conform to the media’s narrative is definitely 2003ish.

Who in this thread is warmongering?

Are you in there challenging the obvious wrongness of those threads/posters?
Would it make a difference if he did? Would they change their mind? Doesn’t seem anyone doing so ever changes them given their volume of posts in the subjects.

Since i didn’t get a response, and the Russians have arrived, does anyone here not believe Putin is about to start carpet bombing, shelling, whatever he can do to every town , village or city in Ukraine?
Turning them in rubble. If so why ?

Are you operating under the illusion that your posts here have some broader effect?
In 2007, I was very much left-wing. And then I listened to the Republican Debate and was intrigued by someone on stage. His name was Ron Paul. So I found the Daily Paul forum online and began reading and researching on Austrian economic theory and Robert Taft's non-interventionist foreign policy. So yes I believe forums like TD have the ability to shape someone's evolving worldview.

No I'm not, mostly because those threads are started by posters being intentionally provocative to get a reaction. But also because my focus is to try and talk about issues that affect us here. Whether we admit it or not, the United States entering this conflict is far more important than whether a Putin ally or a NATO ally controls Ukraine. So I spend the bulk of my time arguing against US intervention into this conflict.

Because he can't afford it. Bombs cost money.

I wonder what the posters in this thread thibk about the billions in aid we are giving Ukraine especially since they were the ones crying about 5bil for the Wall
Posted on 3/5/22 at 3:50 pm to TutHillTiger
Agree with everything you said there. I too sympathize with Russians being forced to fight. Every Russian I know is opposed to this invasion. They have friends and family in Ukraine and zero reasons to fight

I think we should give almost no foreign aid whatsoever. I’ve been fuming for years that we didn’t just cut off Pakistan completely after they intentionally hid Osama Bin Laden from

You are all the same because you vote for it.
Open borders and handouts are what the Democrat Party are all about along with a handful of other stupid things.
