Again, this is not true. One thing that's increasingly clear is that the US would shoot down the vast majority of Russian missiles and bombers. A few would get through, of course, leading to devastating losses of millions of people, but the United States would survive. Russia, on the other hand, would be completely annihilated.

100% correct. This strategy is causing Ukraine to bleed out. It is an absolute failure for Ukraine and it's people. This administration is disgraceful. Biden is such a demented old fool his own party kicked him to the curb. They covered for him for 3.5 years and only when they saw he was going to get trounced they quickly threw him out like garbage after 14 million people voted for him. I call that a Threat to Democracy!! And now they have an incompetent cacklin fool.
LOL.

What’s the correct strategy then? Sending US warplanes or troops 6,000 miles away to Ukraine?
Because Ukraine can’t even keep their own population from leaving the country.
Anybody that wants Americans to die for Ukraine is an idiot.

All the weapons they need and gloves off as to where they can strike with US supplied weapons.

Russia cannot either.
The only ones even mentioning US boots on the ground in the fight are politards.

Never was, or should be considered, an option.

Did I say I wanted troops in Ukraine? Didn't you say you wanted the war to end? Biden's policy has resulted in this war being drug out or prolonged. I can't understand anyone not realizing this. All this current policy is doing is dragging this out and killing Ukrainians. They can't fight this war forever. Ukraine has been forced to fight this war with one hand tied behind their back. Biden has either delayed or denied: that has been their policy. Either get the hell out or do enough to force Putin to realize that he can't win and then he would come to the table in a serious negotiating manner.

I agree with this. Biden has been really weak with Ukraine. They asked for tanks. And he finally caved in and sent them months later. It's like he's afraid of Putin.

British Defence Intelligence
INTELLIGENCE UPDATE
UPDATE ON UKRAINE 28 July 2024
According to Russian media, the head of the Russian Defence Ministry's Military Construction Company, Andrei Belkov, has been arrested on charges of corruption related to procurement activity. The Military Construction Company was set up in 2019 specifically to achieve efficiencies with the then Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu praising the 'special internal and external audit regime' that the company would bring to Defence. In reality it is likely the company has been used to extract rents by corrupt officials.
Separately on 23 July 2024, the former director of the Zvezda-Strela tactical missile plant was sentenced to prison for embezzlement and price inflation by a court in Rostov-on-Don.
Corruption is endemic in the Russian defence industry. In 2007, an audit commissioned by the then Defence Minister Sergei Ivanov revealed that 70% of Ministry of Defence budgetary resources were used for purposes other than those officially designated. Some of this corruption is tolerated by the Kremlin, but there have been increasing crackdowns on those not sufficiently politically protected since the start of the war in Ukraine.

Ukraine fired 8 ATACMS at Saki airfield destroying 2 Su-30SM fighters as well as a $100 million Nebo radar. That’s huge. The Russians can replace the fighters a whole lot easier than that radar of which they already don’t have too many. An ammunition depot and an S-400 launcher were also rumored to have been damaged or destroyed. The RC-135 that flew surveillance in the Black Sea that was met by a Su-27 might have found some juicy targets. The Su-27 apparently wasn’t aware the British RC-135 was being escorted by 2 Typhoons or I doubt he would have come anywhere close.

Russians never learn. Still grouping large numbers of troops together is like shooting fish in a barrel. The ATACMS strike in Luhansk on the training ground has so far killed 19 pigs and wounded 71 more.

NYT: Russia Punches Through Weakened Lines in Eastern Ukraine
quote:
Russian forces have made rapid gains in the eastern Donetsk region over the past week or so, capturing a few villages and closing in on the city of Pokrovsk, one of the main Ukrainian defensive strongholds in the area. Russian forces are now only a dozen miles from Pokrovsk after Moscow’s troops pushed along a railway line and advanced about three miles toward the city, according to open-source maps of the battlefield based on combat footage and satellite imagery. The Russian progress contrasts sharply with the slow but steady gains that Moscow had made so far this year in the Donetsk region, sometimes measured in only a few hundred yards a week. Military analysts say the swift gains reflect Moscow’s improved ability to exploit cracks in Ukrainian defensive lines, which have been thinned by manpower shortages and strained by relentless Russian attacks along a more than 600-mile front.
The comedian needs to go. He should give up some land now before all is lost.

Only six Ukrainian pilots trained to fly new F-16 fighter jets
quote:
Fighterbomber, a Telegram channel that specialises in aviation, said that six pilots meant Ukraine would only be able to deploy two fighter jets at the same time because “a pilot can’t work around the clock”.
quote:
Citing Ukrainian and Western officials, the Washington Post reported that not only are there far too few trained pilots to give Ukraine an edge but the jets can not immediately be used on the front line due to improving Russian air defences.
quote:
Basing the F-16s in Ukraine has also become a problem. F-16s need a long, clean runway, free of stones or debris. Over the past few weeks, Russia has been bombing the only suitable bases.

Earth to Texas ag7, we are good with Ukraine defending themselves with American weapons.
Russians aren’t launching missiles at Ukraine from Moscow.
