Haven’t you been one of the more vocal posters about their military ineptitude?

You people backing the Ukraine don't know what you are doing. This country will be drenched in blood, and God only knows how it will end. It is all folly, madness, a crime against civilization! You people speak so lightly of war; you don't know what you're talking about.
War is a terrible thing! You mistake, too, the people of Russsia. They are a peaceable people but an earnest people, and they will fight, too. They are not going to let their country be destroyed by the Global cabal without a mighty effort to save it … Besides, where are the Ukranian men and appliances of war to contend against them? Russia can make a steam engine, locomotive, or fighter jet; hardly a yard of cloth or pair of shoes can Ukraine make.
You are rushing this land into war with one of the most powerful, ingeniously mechanical, and determined people on Earth — right at your doors.
You are bound to fail. Only in your spirit and determination are you prepared for war. In all else you are totally unprepared, with a bad cause to start with. At first you will make headway, but as your limited resources begin to fail, your cause will begin to wane. If your people will but stop and think, they must see in the end that you will surely fail.

Your trolling is getting weaker and more obvious.

It’s honestly really sad how hard you are trying to be a troll.Do better. Literally everything you just said is complete bullshite and once more you know it. Russia are peaceful people? Then why did they invade another sovereign country killing innocent civilians, looting and destroying everywhere they go? I can only imagine how pathetic your life must be if being a troll gives you joy. Maybe try to get laid if you can find a prostitute willing to frick you.

Mate that was actually the rant that the late great William Tecumseh Sherman gave to his LSU colleague during the outbreak of the American Civil War.
I appreciate you all indulging me as I repurposed it for this Russian Civil War.

On a sidebar question to the military folk here. Why are the Huthies suddenly able to shoot down our Reaper drones? They've shot down 6 now.

I suspect it is the Iran/Russia anti-air link. Reapers are slow and easy targets.

The Russians tried hitting the home of the 7th Tactical Aviation Brigade in western Ukraine again. It’s the base that the Su-24Ms that carry the Storm Shadow is based out of. Ukraine has those precious last few airframes of that type in their inventory well protected and Storm Shadow missiles would be stored in underground bunkers.

Will the F16's be able to carry those?

Denmark will allow Ukraine to strike with its weapons on the territory of the russian federation.
This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Denmark, Lars Locke Rasmussen.
"The short answer is yes. And this position is not new. It is part of the aid. When we discussed this with our foreign affairs committee in the Danish parliament, we made it clear from the beginning that a possible attack on military facilities on the territory of the aggressor is part of self-defense," the minister said.

?????????? Complex strike on Crimea
?? This night the AFU carried out a new attack on the Crimean peninsula after several days of a break. In anticipation of the strike, Ukrainian uncrewed boats began to mark off Crimea.
Around noon, Ka-29 and Mi-24 helicopters destroyed two drones west of Sevastopol. And in the evening another BEC was detected and shot down by Mi-8 crew northwest of Cape Tarkhankut.
?? But the main events unfolded after midnight.
?? First, eight ATACMS operational-tactical missiles were fired at Kerch from the Nikolaev region. Units of the 31st Division successfully shot down all targets.
However, due to the use of cluster warheads, some debris fell in the Kerch port area, damaging two ferries, but more damage was avoided.
?? At the same time, up to six BECs were detected near Chernomorskoye and were fired upon, but two maritime drones penetrated Uzkaya Bay. One BEC (alas, the video is already on the web) hit a boat near the pier, and the second was destroyed near another border patrol boat, causing it to suffer minor damage.
At the same time, a Ukrainian drone from the Odessa region was operating just northwest of Chernomorskoye, monitoring the situation on the peninsula.
In this case, attention should be paid to the tactics of the enemy: the BECs kept at a distance from Crimea until the missile threat was introduced. At this command, all the border guards of the Federal Security Service of Russia began to go back into the bay, and the booms were briefly opened.
And at that moment, two drones and penetrated into the bay, taking advantage of the lifting of the nets that covered the entrance to the base point of the Black Sea Fleet and the border service of the Federal Security Service of Russia.
The attacks were not only geographically separated: one in the east of Crimea, the other in the northwest, but they were carried out simultaneously for a reason. And the entrance to the bay was open, and there were fewer personnel due to the threat of a missile attack.

But it gets better!

4 Russian boats, 2 ferries and pilot boat damaged or destroyed in attacks on Crimea, Russian media outlet says
VALENTYNA ROMANENKO — Thursday, 30 May 2024, 13:49
Russian Telegram-based news outlet ASTRA has reported that four Russian boats, two ferries and a pilot boat were damaged or destroyed in an attack on Russian-occupied Crimea overnight, leaving five people injured.
Source: ASTRA
Details: Shrapnel from a downed missile damaged the Mechta pilot boat at the Kerch ferry crossing. The vessel crashed and sank. ASTRA noted that the crew members managed to leave the boat and were unharmed.
In addition to the Mechta boat, the Conro Trader and the Avangard ferries were damaged. The latter ran aground due to damage, ASTRA sources in the emergency services of the occupied region said.
One of the crew members of the Conro Trader ferry was injured. Four crew members, including 19-year-old interns, were injured on the Avangard.
In addition, four KS-701 transport amphibious boats were damaged, the destruction of two of which has already been reported by Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
Earlier, the Russian-appointed "adviser to the head of Crimea" reported that two ferries had been damaged in Kerch by the wreckage of destroyed missiles.
Background: On the night of 29-30 May, Russian local Telegram channels reported explosions in the city of Kerch, Russian-occupied Crimea (Ukrainska Pravda has information that a missile attack took place there).
In addition, Ukrainian uncrewed surface vessels Magura V5 attacked and hit two Russian boats near the village of Chornomorske, Yevpatoriia district. Defence Intelligence of Ukraine confirmed the destruction of two high-speed transport and amphibious boats belonging to the Russians, the KS-701 Tunets.

The Russians are really special in the way they report these things. According to them, the missile was shot down. But gosh darn it, what luck, the shrapnel of falling, destroyed missile sank the vessel.
