Russia is already the largest country in the World. Th last thing Putin needs or wants is a land grab. It’s not about NATO in Ukraine.
This is solely about Putin needing to show the majority or Russians, who are dumb, they have it better than their neighbor. It’s really that simple.

If it’s ten times worse than Chernobyl that doesn’t necessarily mean ten times the amount of people die. It means it could be ten times more difficult to contain which is a whole different matter. Tens times worse could be a hundred or more times the death toll of Chernobyl before they get it under control.

Apparently a tweet in the other thread said it very well could have been the Ukrainians that fricked up the plant by firing RPGs at Russians trying to take it over

This entire campaign has been a giant exercise in stupidity and it’s now culminating in the shelling of a nuclear power plant. Why would anyone do that? Are they trying to pull the rest of Europe into a war because that’s a really fricked up way to make it happen.
