That oil pipeline system is also the main connection that Russia would need to use to import finished products from Belarus. Only if it is set up as a two way pipeline.
Well that is obviously what Russia is planning on doing if the internet news about Russia importing finished petroleum products from Belarus is true. From what I can find online there are not any pipelines that run from Belarus to Russia. Of course, I guess they could use trains but those are easy drone targets and more expensive than pipelines.

[quote] The Russians are currently producing 3 million artillery shells a year, and the DPRK, we believe, has sent 3 million artillery shells to Russia over the last few months. The DPRK manufactures 2 million round a year in peacetime, their top end production is somewhere between 4 to 6 million rounds a year. The DPRK, for the record, has an estimated GDP of 48 billion.[/quote
That’s what intelligent, industrious nations do.
As a side note the deceased president of DPRK holds the record for the most hole in one’s in one round of golf as well as the lowest score ever.

I know that, so Ukrainian women seem the opposite.

A now deceased Belgian biz friend became a certified trader for Rosneft. Rail out from refining and fertilizers to their Pacific coast is how he was offering commodities at competitive prices. He was hoping to get into the fuels for Alaskan market but South Korean refineries already had that market locked up. Yes, it's cheaper to refine crude oil into products AND ship via foreign flag to Alaska, than from refineries in the Seattle area on US Flag tankers

Russia produces a lot of shells. It fires a lot of shells too. Russia fired an average of 10,000 shells per day during its 4 month offensive to take Avdiivka. That is roughly 1.2 million shells. Let's look at what it got them.
Here are the battle line prior to the offensive.
Russia moved the lines back 6 km. That is 200,000 shells per km. It is 44 km to the next strategic point in the Donbas which is the road and rail junctions at Pokrovsk. Russia will need approximately 8.8 million shells to advance that far. That is over 2.5 years of Russian shell production.

At the time of drafting this article on March 8th, 2024, current Russian officer losses are 7 Generals (1 three-star and 6 two-star), 90 Colonels, 220 Lieutenant Colonels, 420 Majors, 627 Captains, 1010 Senior Lieutenants, 700 Lieutenants, and 130 Junior Lieutenants.
To put the losses of Russian officers into perspective on the battlefield during the ongoing war, the average lifespan of junior, field, and senior commanders during the two-year full-scale war is scathing.
Seven hundred forty-five days since the full-scale war, at the time of drafting this article, the average lifespan of the 90 Colonels killed in action is close to 8.5 days. The lifespan of a Lieutenant Colonel is 3.3 days, and a Major and Captain will barely survive 1-2 days in active combat.

So lets get this straight, ukraine moves missile sites close to Russia so they can fire some missiles into helpless Russian villages, kill some kids and boast about it.
Russia knows they are limited on batteries and thinks "surely they arent stupid enough to leave holes in their defense of kiev, but lets see.....and voila".
Now cargo pants says they were all shot down as the international media shows the holes the sizes of buses in downtown kiev.
....and of course it is the west fault since they need more weapons. Maybe he should tell the wife to cut down on the shopping trips, and maybe he should sit in on some meetings and suggest its not a good idea to remove the defenses from your capital in the middle of a war just so you can grab some headlines.
What a waste of humanity and money, all so a few can get richer.

The germans did the same analysis when the Allies were tied up in hedgerow country in France.....howd that work out for them?
Do a map for today, lets see how far the Russians have moved. Face it the ukranians spent their nut defending that city and now are running.

I meant Yaroslavi which is a town in Russia where both the Yamal gas pipeline and a oil pipeline converge. That oil pipeline system is also the main connection that Russia would need to use to import finished products from Belarus.
Sounds like an excellent target.

Russian Missile Hits Own Trawler Captain Lobanov in Baltic Sea
The fishing trawler Captain Lobanov was hit by a missile from the Russian Baltic Fleet.
The Russian online TV Rain reported on this, citing relatives of one of the crew members.
The TV reported that the incident occurred on March 19, 2024, when three crew members were killed on the trawler and four others were injured.
The missile that hit the trawler was fired during a Baltic Fleet exercise. Before the incident, the crew members of Captain Lobanov were about to go to bed when the missile hit the captain’s cabin.

To put this in perspective, I'm gonna need the Ukrainian toll

Operation Cobra. To break through the German lines, the Allies rolled 3000 medium and heavy bombers against an area basically one mile wide and three miles deep. They carpet bombed it with over 20,000 sorties and over 100,000 tons of bombs.
That's the equivalent to over 1 million 152mm projectiles. Can Russia bring that level of firepower to the field? Without suffering counterbattery fire? While controlling the air? While having 500,000 troops and 5000 tanks ready to exploit the breach? And without being observed and attacked by Uke FPV drones? And without being subject to guided artillery strikes and cluster munitions fired from both flanks?
If so then the road to Kiev is open.

now are running.
Link?
The lines have been basically static for the past two weeks. Can you be specific about where the Ukrainian army is running? How many km2 are the Russians gobbling up each day? The MSM has totally whiffed on this breakout you are referring to.

Err, you need to blow that map up so an old guy like myself can see all the gains the Russians are making. Do you have a neighborhood view???
TIA

You learn something every day. See, I thought Ukraine had offensive missiles and air defense missiles. Now I learn they only have one kind. No wonder Russia is gaining a thousand feet per day.

Best I can find is 5 days old.

Following Russia's capture of Avdiivka, in the Donetsk oblast last month, one ISW map shows how Russia forces had this week captured the town Nevelske
If you look at the map you will see that Nevelske is < 10 km from where the Russian lines were in February.
Nevelske is a tiny little town that is covered up in the map by the word factory.

Face it the ukranians spent their nut defending that city and now are running.
Russia advancing 10 km in weeks is really running.
ETA: I brain farted and wrote October instead of February. Russian has advanced to Nevelske since Feburary not October. I will now go do boes and toes on broken glass to make up for my mistake.

Bingo and the Ruskies are right behind them except after every 1000 feet they need to stop, eat, rest and get ready to do it all again the next day.

Syrskyi: Ukraine's forces 'stabilize situation' in the east
by Kateryna Denisova and The Kyiv Independent news desk March 21, 2024 8:23 PM
The Ukrainian forces managed to "stabilize the situation" in the country's east, Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi said on March 21.
After the capture of Avdiivka on Feb. 17 and several other settlements shortly after, Russian forces were concentrating their main efforts on making a breakthrough near the fallen town in Donetsk Oblast, Syrskyi reported last week. Avdiivka fell as Ukraine was facing an ongoing ammunition shortage.
