I mean, I've seen plenty of dead Russians. One torn in half. Another with a hole the size of a softball in his head. I've seen more than I probably really need to see. Saw a few burned alive....well, the remnants of them, anyway.
I've posted an article with interviews with people who work at the hospital the worst of the injured are being taken to. It has video of ambulances lined up ten deep unloading the injured.
I'm not linking the obviously dead videos here, but they are out there. What more do you want?

Yes even if the civilians are fighting back it is still a slaughter of the innocent if the Russians kill them. It’s their freaking country and the Russians are a foreign invading force with no reason to be there.

There were militias in the Rev War, yes.
Haven't read to much about random civilians dropping flaming alcohol bombs on the Redcoats.
A bit different.
Look at it like any military will; You are sitting on the balcony of your apartment dropping molotovs on APC's and other vehicles on the road below. The guys you are throwing them at are not going to bother going into your building and finding you apartment. They are going to throw some tank rounds into your building killing not only you but, more importantly, your neighbors.
There is a reason reasonable governments do not promote their civilians taking on military personnel.
Frankly it's insane Ukraine from the first day has told their people to do it.
eta-There was a video posted yesterday of a guy videoing out his window that apparently presented himself as a sniper. A tank blasted a round into his building narrowly missing him.
