Utkin
Sidebar related to this Wagner drama:
His wiki page says Utkin hasn't made any public appearance since 2016. He's the founder of Wagner. Prigozhin is the supposed financier, but has been the public face of Wagner for as long as I can remember hearing about him.
Is there any chance that Utkin is dead or in the Black Dolphin prison for maybe having visions of his own coup? Prigozhin and Putin used to be close friends and is it possible Putin put Prigozhin in charge of Wagner to skirt legalities while making himself and his buddy extremely rich in the process from sources outside of Russia? (Syrian oil and African mineral mines come to mind)

Prigo claims order was given for airstrikes on the Wagner column, pilots refused.

if that's true then wow.
Hope the babushkas in rural Russia are ready to fight. Putin is going to be throwing them at this Wagner column at this rate.

Two weeks in and the much hyped “counteroffensive” that leaked US intelligence said would likely fail. . . is indeed failing.

Ask yourself the question "why today"? Why in the middle of the Ukrainian Offensive did a supposed ultra-nationalist like Prigozhin decide to declare war on the Russian MOD.
There was a July 1 deadline for wagner forces to sign a document agreeing to being controlled by the russian MoD.

The Wagner offensive in Russia is doing well though.

A lot of people have been speculating about a Prigozhin coup attempt for months. Putin no doubt assumed the blind loyalty of his "friend," but everyone else could see that an increasingly powerful PMC at odds with the MoD was a recipe for disaster.
My gut is that the MoD figured out that Prigozhin was planning this coup attempt and made a direct move against him. That left Prigozhin with no choice but to pull the trigger or get arrested.
I still try to assess what Wagner's chances are and come up empty. On the face of it, a force of 25k has little chance against the Russian military.
But Prigozhin must have people on the inside to hope to pull this off. Most of his officers are former Russian army and FSB, and they all have friends on the inside.
And Wagner is proven to be the best fighting force in Russia, and the vast majority of Russia's military assets are tied up in Ukraine.
There is one conclusion that is inescapable: today is a huge victory for Ukraine -- perhaps a total victory. I strongly doubt that the Russian MoD will be able to defeat Wagner without redeploying troops from the front.
And simply the uncertainty is devastating to Russian morale. I'm already reading reports that Ukraine is attacking all along the southern front, and that Ukraine is taking streets back in Bakhmut.
Who knows how much of that is true at the moment, but it's a great day for Ukraine however this turns out.

Prigozhin: Wagner has entered Rostov. Conscripts sent to block him went over to the Wagner side. Rosvgardia fired on them then fled.
Not starting out well for the Russian MOD.

1. COVID was a bio weapon
2. It would be used to steal an election (Trump would lose in 2020)
3. Matt Flynn would win a championship his first year as starter
4. Lebron is an idiot prima donna
5. The vaccine was ineffective and harmful
6. LSU would win it all in 2019 BEFORE people realized how good we were
7. Disney would ruin Star Wars
8. Nothing would ever happen to Hillary Clinton and Q was a hijacked distraction
I could go on and on. I still have the comments up today - posted BEFORE it was “popular”

Don't know if that's true but air raid alerts are going off in Ukraine so pilots are cool with that still
