Ukraine: don't want to give us ATACMS? Fine. We have our own.
Wonder how many missiles they have for it. And if they were to retake Mariupol how close would they be from potentially sinking more Black Sea ships?
There is limited information about the Grom 2 or Hrim 2. From what I found only 1 or 2 of the systems was initially put together before the project was then frozen due to lack of funding. One was sent to Saudi Arabia for testing/because they wanted a Iskander/ATACMS equivalent. The other, if it was produced, remained in Ukraine.
The manufacturer, Pivdenne Design Office, was reportedly a few months away from signing a deal to restart production in April '21. Located in Dnipro they are said to have suffered several missiles strikes since the war began, so their status or if production has been moved elsewhere, is unclear.
The Saudi one may have been returned as far back as August last year as well.

I guess we have the reasoning for UA to still be in Bakhmut.

That's taken out of context. He was just saying that those cities would be next. The road would not be open, as the hills behind Bakhmut would be heavily defended.

I would be surprised if they had more than a dozen of them. Hard to produce new weapons in country when you are at war.

There is still every reason to believe that this was the weapon used to attack Saki air base in Crimea last fall.
I think Ukraine had a very small stock, used them then, and now has built a few more.
It's possible, though, that they have managed to actually set up a production line. One of the benefits of Ukraine's improved air defense is that they can build factories in Western Ukraine that are basically safe (of course, they can build them in underground bunkers, etc. for even more security).

Thanks. I honestly don’t know why he said either to begin with. Seems like you’d just say something along the lines of it being successful to combat initiatives to continue to fight there etc.
Year in and I’m still a bit surprised at times with the level of Info that’s publicly available, including interviews or statements of global leaders whether in context or out.

But why? Idk how regular Americans support this still. I hope their kids do get drafted because of their want for Ukraine.

I think I’m going to call bullshite here. I think it’s fairly easy and convenient for Biden to blame a nameless group for the pipeline when the man all but said he would take it out on tv like the idiot he is.
The equivalent of Boudreaux and Thibodeaux commercial diving for oil and gas platforms in the Gulf of Mexico could have done it, be they Nigerian, Norwegian, Russian, Coonass, etc... They were in depths of 70 to 90 meters of water.

Financial and material support for Ukraine isn’t a big deal or even on the radar for most American voters.
