I never saw his full partial mobilization speech and of course, the problem is finding it translated. There was one Twitter account that did real time translated tweets with bullet points during that speech, I am not sure but it may have been Anton Gerashchenko.

Sounds like it isn't hard so I would say poor training or an intense firefight which didn't give them the chance to do one or let the alternate barrel cool if they did.

Pretty big deal for a few reasons, first and foremost because it’s Japan who has been almost exclusively defensive military philosophy only since 1945. For reference Japan’s total defense budget is $55 billion, a 26% increase from prior years budget, so this is 9% of their defense budget.
Also for reference, Germany contributed $2.3 billion to Ukraine in 2022.

If anyone wants to watch live you can watch it on Russia 1 at the link below. The channel guide says Putin comes on at noon Moscow time which is 3 AM Central.

I tried to listen. It was a bunch of rambling nonsense about how the Ukrainians are Nazis and the west is ganging up on poor little Russia. If he says anything noteworthy I'll read about it tomorrow.
