Does anyone know if the NSV's barrel is as much of a PITA to change as an M60? I ask because I wonder if the "melting barrel" was a result of poor training, lack of extra barrel, or a situation so dire they couldn't take the time which would indicate the barrel change takes longer than reloading. You would think a tripod mounted barrel change would be easy peasy.

Look I have been anti-Ukraine since 2016.

So over a decade after Maidan. Russia has always wanted Ukraine back under its thumb. The public even in the Donbas voted to leave Russia. Then 15+ years ago they decided they didn't want corruption and the Russian influence but to be part of Europe.

Ukraine is now visually confirmed to have lost more than 3000 vehicles and other types of heavy weaponry and equipment since #Russia launched its invasion of the country on February 24, 2022.

Russian losses come in at 9200+.

The fact that over 12,000 pieces of equipment are documented to have been lost in this war is something to keep in mind when a nation promises a few guns or Humvees.

These posts about Zelensky’s net worth are fueled by unrelated biases, not facts.
These speculations say more about their proponents than about Zelensky.
We have many more reliable data points about, say, Trump. Including his own, oft repeated boasts about his net worth, for whatever they are worth…

@Faytuks A leaked internal strategy document from Putin’s executive office and obtained by Yahoo News lays out a detailed plan on how Russia plans to take full control over Belarus in the next decade.

The union state has always been a project that has been idle for decades but maybe this is why Luka put out a call for 150,000 volunteers.

Maybe he is much more bluster than confident after all. He keeps promising a tactical nuclear hit, why didn't he? Is the fact that his armies are getting their asses kicked finally soaking in?

I guess I'm not following you, are you bemoaning the fact that Putin didn't launch a tactical nuke at Kyiv during Biden's visit?

This has been going on for the last 3- 5 years or so. The Russian FSB has locked that place down. Russia and Belarus have already taken steps to integrate economies, immigration controls, etc.
