Yeah well there wasn’t much plausible deniability left…the good news in all this is Kherson will go back to Ukraine and the missile defence systems keep pouring in. Those kill rates continue to tick up 80-85% and Russia has to turn to pariah states to make their combat boots and missiles.

British Defence Intelligence
UPDATE ON UKRAINE 9 November 2022
INTELLIGENCE UPDATE

Russian efforts to repair the Crimean Bridge continue but it is unlikely to be fully operational until at least September 2023. On 8 November the road bridge was due to be closed to allow the movement and installation of a replacement 64-metre span. Three more spans will be required to replace the damaged road sections.

Although Crimean officials have claimed these additional spans will be in place by 20 December, a briefing provided to President Putin added that works to the other carriageway would cause disruption to road traffic until March 2023.

Replacement of the damaged rail bridge has been contracted for completion by September 2023, although Russia's Deputy Prime Minister stated the repair timeline would be expedited. One track is open, but rail transport remains restricted. Repair activity will be heavily dependent on weather conditions through the winter months.

The Crimean bridge attack has disrupted Russian logistics supplies for Crimea and southern Ukraine, reducing Russia's ability to move military equipment and troops into the area by rail or road. The damage to the bridge, the recent attack on the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol and the probable withdrawal from Kherson all complicate the Russian government's ability to paint a picture of military success.

That would be awesome huh bruh

More GOP support would be awesome, yeah.

Israel recognizing that its strategic interests lie in helping Ukraine and giving them weapons? Yeah that would also be awesome.

Iranian drones and (soon) ballistic missiles causing terror across Ukrainian cities and destroying Ukrainian infrastructure? No, that's not awesome.

Glad I could clear that up for ya.

They need to find a way to hit the bridge again.

Russian invaders have blown up bridges on the right bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region.

Serhii Khlan, a Kherson Regional Council deputy, said this at a briefing at the Ukraine – Ukrinform Media Center on Wednesday, November 9, Ukrinform reports.

"The occupiers blew up not only the Darivka and Tiahynka bridges. They also blew up the bridge at the exit from Snihurivka towards Kherson across the canal, the bridge in Novokairy, and the bridge in Mylove. That is, the occupiers are blowing up absolutely all the bridges on the right-bank part of the Kherson region," Khlan said.

Much more widespread reports of Ukrainian attacks across the Kherson region. It appears that the final battle for control of the right bank of the river has begun.

There are Russia Telegram channels saying that Russia has lost contact with its forces in Snihurivka, and the bridges to the east and the south of town have been blown up.

In fact, there are at least five bridges that the Russians have just blown up in the region, indicating that they are trying to slow Ukrainian advances.

Edit: what Cypher just posted.

From Oryx, tracking German aid to Ukraine:

quote:

Moved from PLEDGED to DELIVERED:

- 30 Dingo MRAPs
- 18 Reconnaissance UAVs
- 4 Anti-Drone Sensors And Jammers
- 5 Oshkosh M1070 Tank Transporters
- Additional Missiles For The IRIS-T SLM
quote:

Newly PLEDGED equipment:

- 42 Mine-Clearing Tanks
- 4 Protected Mine Clearing Systems
- 4 Remote Mine Clearing Systems
- 5 Reconnaissance Systems
- Additional Missiles For The IRIS-T SLM

All that mine-clearing equipment will be key in the next stage of Ukraine's counter-offensive.

Kirill Stremousov, the former Yanukovich man & Russian collaborationist official in Kherson and notable poet of the immortal line "my homeland is whereever I drive my tank" is being reported dead by fellow Russian occupationist administrators on Russian telegram. Reported cause of death is a car "accident".

Alexander Khodakovsky (former DPR security minister) says to expect an official announcement today from the Russian MOD about Kherson, adding that he suspects he won't like it. War Gonzo saying the same thing.

Apparently, another goodwill gesture is incoming.

I can’t decide who is worse Marjorie Taylor Greene or the squad of leftist wingnuts led by AOC.

Losing Kherson is not going to go down well with the Russian public. I can't wait to see Solovyov do his thing again -- someone please post the gif.

Now, it's just a race to see how many Russians and how much Russian equipment can get across the river before Ukraine captures/kills them.

Where's BrianKellyRespecter? He said many times that Russia would never lose Kherson. He said many times that the destruction of the Kerch Bridge would not mean that Kherson couldn't be supplied.

I just hope that he didn't get sent there, or to the ongoing Russian disaster at Pavlivka.

Edit: he hasn't posted since October 25th.
