Do you know what that money could have done in this country?
You could have rebuilt police forces in crime riddled inner cities and started to revitalize them. You could have hardened every single school in America so there isn’t another school shooting. I could go on and on.
Instead we sent billions to Ukraine which half the country can’t even find on a map just so the majority of it can be siphoned off by corrupt politicians and the military industrial complex can get fat rich.
Wake the frick up. Russia was never taking over Europe with or without us. Let the Europeans deal with Europe.
this guy foreign politics
edit: this was sarcasm btw

That was my first thought. Isn't that what we are doing when we pay taxes to the federal government in DC?

Watching Putin's speech on CSPAN. He's a hell of an actor or he really believes things are going according to plan.

That cage around the tracks at the bottom looks remarkably close to what we were retrofitting Strykers with while we were in Iraq.
I don't know if the Ukrainians have copied the bootleg Iranian / Sadrist EFP model that puts a copper tip on a projectile and inverts the penetration mechanism so that it penetrates (pretty thick) armor and then explodes or what.
On a per attack basis (that is, normalizing for how often you would be attacked by different forms of explosives, small arms, mortars and other indirect, etc.), those were the deadliest things that pretty much any American unit faced in Iraq. They weren't all that common, but if you were hit with one, you were extremely lucky if you weren't completely fricked. Can't say the same at all for Sunni insurgent IEDs or small arms or the jerry-rigged indirect we got plenty of.

British Defence Intelligence
UPDATE ON UKRAINE 28 October 2022
INTELLIGENCE UPDATE
Russia has likely augmented some of its units west of the Dnipro River with mobilised reservists. However, this is from an extremely low level of manning. In September 2022, Russian officers described companies in the Kherson sector as consisting of between six and eight men each. Companies should deploy with around 100 personnel.
In the last six weeks there has been a clear move from Russian ground forces to transition to a long-term, defensive posture on most areas of the front line in Ukraine. This is likely due to a more realistic assessment that the severely undermanned, poorly trained force in Ukraine is currently only capable of defensive operations.
Even if Russia succeeds in consolidating long-term defensive lines in Ukraine, its operational design will remain vulnerable. To regain the initiative, it will need to regenerate higher quality, mobile forces which are capable of dynamically countering Ukrainian breakthroughs and conducting their own large-scale offensive operations.

If you didn't follow the whole "Satanism" thing closely, you might have missed that the article that started it used as evidence
1. A minor Ukrainian official was Pentacostal,
2. Another official was a Scientologist, and
3. A third was an ultra-Orthodox Jew.
Yep. That's was actually what the article claimed: that the proliferation of "extreme sects" showed that Satan was at work in Ukraine. Oh, and that the Church of Satan was a "registered religion" in the US (of course, we don't register religions here and then give them permission to worship -- for example, people can just decide to believe all on their own that top politicians and business executives run a child-trafficking ring where they use children's blood to produce a life-giving, secret substance called adrenochrome).
We'll, the chief rabbi of Russia demanded an apology for the comparison and the negative comments, and today, Russia officially apologized for the article.
Here's the official Russian government LINK.
So, I guess Satanism is done now. I can't wait to see justification Russia uses next ... aliens? Gotta be aliens, right BrianKellyRespecter?

Kremlin propaganda more aggressive as Russia steps up attacks
October 28, 2022 2:48 pmby Oleg Sukhov
As Russia is escalating its war against Ukraine and using massive missile and drone strikes to destroy infrastructure, Kremlin propaganda is becoming even more bloodthirsty.
The earlier disappointment of propagandists with repeated Russian defeats on the battlefield has been replaced with a feeling of schadenfreude. They are gloating over the suffering and deaths of Ukrainian civilians caused by Russian attacks.
