I don’t know a single person that wants to close our borders who “supports Russia”. In fact, I don’t know a single person who supports Russia. I know a lot of people like me who question why we have to shovel money to what is, at most, a regional conflict. But, more likely, is a severely corrupt regime that a lot of our power brokers have their hooks into.
Personally, I am loving watching Russia piss all over their own shoes in their Ukrainian aggression. I am also completely opposed to giving the Ukrainian regime a single cent.

Also, the longer we fund and give money to Ukraine the more desperate Russia becomes. That desperation is what could lead to nuclear weapons being used. Putin is not going to stop and accept the humiliation.
It's stupid at this point to continue to prop up Ukraine.

The problem we have is Russias Nuke Arsenal. The US was never gonna get involved enough to provoke that type of response. We can’t keep sending weapons and printing money without destroying our economy and leaving us open to military threats. Biden is behaving much like LBJ in Vietnam. In both cases we are involved in war without having the willingness to unleash the might of our military. We are just doing a bunch of half measures that Putin can wait out. At the same time we are emptying our weapons stockpiles, emptying our petroleum reserves and inflating our currency. That is a recipe for a big arse disaster. I just hope somehow we get lucky and avoid it.

People keep saying that but I just googled the ten most corrupt countries in Europe and both lists I saw didn’t have Ukraine.

I don't know if you are lying or just ignorant, but no, Biden is not begging Venezuela to up oil production. We still have the same sanctions on them that were put in place in the Trump administration. Biden is telling them that, if they start letting Venezuelans have a little more freedom (which would, again, help the border situation), that we might relax some sanctions and allow them to sell us some oil.
But so far, Venezuela has refused to change anything.
