History repeating itself. This time it’s Russian boys being sacrificed and not German because an ego maniac is in charge

Aside from the big events to the North, Russia continued small scale attacks near Bakhmut. They've made some small gains but are paying a heavy price for limited gains. Should Ukrainian armed forces make another breakthrough assault in the North there is the danger that Russian units in the center of the conflict could find their supply lines severely interdicted.
Ukraine continues the war of attrition around Kherson by hitting bridging supplies and logistics. Russia continues to push reinforcements into Kherson but they are increasingly made up of "recruits" brought in by the conscription. Of course the issue for Russia becomes the more people they push into this salient the more supplies they will need to keep them fighting. The question now is whether the Ukraine tries to hit the Russians hard before bad weather really sets in or plays the patient game waiting for the perfect moment to strike. So far Ukraine has been very patient in this war.
Russia has been heavily using Iranian made drones in the South of the Ukraine. Success rates for them seem to be spotty but they are a concern for Ukrainian forces because they are much better than Russian drones. When the Iranians make better military equipment than you... yikes.
There are concerns that the US and EU stock piles of equipment are beginning to dip to levels that would cause a slow down in supplying Ukrainian forces in the field. As an example in a typical year the US produces 800 Javelin missiles. We've already given Ukraine 8,000 Javelins in the conflict. NATO countries have begun to ramp up military goods production but it may take a few months before that shows fruit. A potential short term solution, though shipping may be an issue, is South Korea, who enjoys a robust arms production and makes equipment compatible with NATO designs.

The only graph I posted said that 67% of Eastern Ukraine thought Kyiv was shite That is over the level of supermajority in the United States that could call a constitutional convention
List all the polls and graphs you want, but it’s easy to see that Ukranians are fighting hard, dying, and it’s all to drive Russia out of their country and maintain their sovereignty.
It’s akin to how Russians fought the Germans in WWII. Russians fought and died in the millions for their country, not for Communusm or Stalin. Ukranians are fighting now for the same reasons.
That’s the only poll that matters.

Just flat-out saying what we already knew, which is that Putin doomed hundreds and maybe thousands of Russian soldiers to their deaths in Lyman, simply because he wouldn't allow a Russian retreat from Lyman to ruin the "triumphant" day of his speech and the "annexation" of Ukrainian territory.
More and more Russians are gradually figuring these things out. Eventually, some in the Russian military are going to decide that they don't want to die for Putin.
Russian soldiers have few good options.

Yep, motivation and morale have always been the cheat code to punch way above your weight class in war.
And nothing can bring together a country faster than a collective sense of an existential threat.
Putin fricked up and didn’t appreciate the one thing that he should have instinctively known from his own history.

Gas started flowing to Poland through the new Baltic Pipe pipeline from Norway via Denmark and the Baltic Sea on Saturday morning, Polish gas pipeline operator Gaz-System said.
Norway is making out like a bandit thanks to this war.

Has Ukraine began the seige of Moscow yet? I haven't check up on this in a while and can't trust the media.

We have around 300 billion in frozen Russian assets. We can give Ukraine 4-5x the aid that we have already given them and reimburse ourselves with the seized Russian assets.

Have you become so desperate for talking points that you resorting to using OMLandsahark's tactic of calling anyone who supports Ukraine defensing themselves a war monger?

Russia's MOD has just confirmed that Russia has withdrawn from Lyman.
This doesn't seem possible, as one of the esteemed posters here was hearing reports just yesterday that:

Everyone should be helping out Russians who wish to flee, but it’s probably a little easier for Mongolia since they border sparsely populated Siberia.
I’m disappointed in Finland too, but they border a much more densely populated region and probably fear a greater logistical nightmare.
I think it’s the humane thing to do for the fleeing Russians, but I don’t think it’s a good idea for the security and peace of the countries they’re trying to flee to. These nations first responsibility has to be to their own populace. Ethnic Russians in Ukraine is Russias stated justification for invading anyway. Why should Finland want to give them the argument in the future?
That’s not even counting the eventual domestic conflict between the ethnic Russians used the authoritarianism and less westernized Russia and westernized Finns.
