They only needed three days to discover amazing problems with mobilisation, from calling up wrong people and refusing the right ones, to risking social tension due to the low morale of the mobilised, as per rashist Andrey Medvedev.

Oh look, Rybar says the mobilisation mechanism is poorly functioning, the summonses are given to random people. Who would have thought?

I don't know, I assume it was injured during the fighting for the Astoval plant. I'm not a doctor, but it looks like it was broken and didn't heal properly.

A friend who passed away a few years ago, tried to enlist for Vietnam. He showed up drunk for the bus and was not allowed to go. He was also removed from active draft status in 1969. That was in Wyoming.

That is one screwed up society. What communism did to that place is amazing.

It was that way before. Most of Russia is quite poor and backwards.

Just wanted to point out that we are on page 1776. God bless America and the democratic republic that we live in.

That’s tough to look at. If that guy is not broken mentally and psychologically from that I’m speechless.

Looks like he suffered a broken humerus (aka the big bone in the upper arm) at some point and had to have a rod implanted. The arm was immobilized in a sling which lead to the muscles wasting away from disuse. The muscle wasting was compounded from malnourishment. You can tell from the rib cage and the swollen belly that the Russians were not giving their captives enough to eat. Even if he was on starvation rations before he surrender after 3 months in captivity if he had been getting fed enough he would start putting on weight.

Can you imagine this scene in the US army?
Honestly, it looks like Mickey's parking lot in Hell's Horseshoe outside Fayetteville on any given Saturday night. At least it did 30 years ago. The main differences were no camo to be seen and the guys were a lot thinner.

A group of not-necessarily-sober Russian conscripts on the territory of the Dolinsk-Sokol air base located in Sakhalin Oblast, Russian Far East.
One old baw can't walk straight to get on the plane and another decided to take a little preflight nap in the grass.
Two weeks and they will be ready for war.

Yes God Bless the USA!
Too bad Russia is not our friend anymore. Catherine's the Great's League of Armed Neutrality was a major factor in the economy of the USA not collapsing during the American Revolution.

How does Russia expect to keep the lights on this winter if it sends all of its employees to die in Ukraine?

That guy laying in the grass looked like me on our trip to Alaska. Wife went in to some glass blowing stuff and I laid down behind the building and fell deep asleep. I woke up to our guide saying something about bears being around etc, and it wasn't safe and it was time to leave and they couldn't find me........wife was embarrassed so I did accomplish something.

F**k me, this is our army.
Russian conscript talking on the phone and telling his officer to go f**k himself and his two lines.
These new troops look really impressed with the Russian army and are so excited to have the honor to die in Ukraine for so Putin can continue to steal from Mother Russia!

World opinion shifts against Russia as Ukraine worries grow

NEW YORK (AP) — The tide of international opinion appears to be decisively shifting against Russia, as a number of non-aligned countries are joining the United States and its allies in condemning Moscow’s war in Ukraine and its threats to the principles of the international rules-based order.
Western officials have repeatedly said that Russia has become isolated since invading Ukraine in February. Until recently, though, that was largely wishful thinking. But on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, much of the international community spoke out against the conflict in a rare display of unity at the often fractured United Nations.
The tide had already appeared to be turning against Russian President Vladimir Putin even before Thursday’s U.N. speeches. Chinese and Indian leaders had been critical of the war at a high-level summit last week in Uzbekistan. And then the U.N. General Assembly disregarded Russia’s objections and voted overwhelmingly to allow Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to be the only leader to address the body remotely, instead of requiring him to appear in person.
Numerous world leaders used their speeches on Tuesday and Wednesday to denounce Russia’s war. That trend continued Thursday both in the assembly hall and at the usually deeply divided U.N. Security Council, where, one-by-one, virtually all of the 15 council members served up harsh criticism of Russia – a council member — for aggravating several already severe global crises and imperiling the foundations of the world body.

Do they still have to stand in long lines to get their bullet?
