The reporting isn't just from Telegram channels. Reuters is reporting the beginning of a more active counter offensive this morning as well.

My friend’s tank battalion left Dnipro last week and has been deployed but I don’t know what front he went to :(. His brother in Ukrainian intel responded to my WhatsApp message with “sorry doc can not talk. shite is going down.” He hasn’t said that since the Kyiv counteroffensive in March. So whatever is going on is big.

One Ukie soldier laughed and said that the safest place to be in a Russian bombardment was were the Russians were trying to hit. However, my non military self is not afraid to admit that my arse was huddled in the culvert and thankful that the soviets were so paranoid about the Americans attacking that all the culverts were made from heavily reinforced concrete. I let the crazy Ukies go take down the aid station.

Good news from what I’ve heard. Break in has occurred and RU forces are fully kettled in a number of places and are now choosing between really shitty options. The last two weeks has seen them starved of beans and bullets. Pontoon bridge is FUBAR too btw.
