Tier 1 operators (we're talking rangers, green berets, etc) are being stripped of their munitions inventory so that it can be sent to Ukraine. Their stuff isn't getting replaced anytime soon. No timeline.
Guy doesn't even know what tier 1 means.

Why make this statement now? Maybe Turkey is less than impressed with the Russians during the mediations.

They were playing both sides until a victor emerged. Clearly they believe Ukraine is gonna come out on top and are now trying to use it for their gain. Deft move IMO
Turkey may be the biggest winner in this conflict.

Russia launched a full invasion of Ukraine six months ago, with the aim of toppling the government and occupying most of the country. By April, Russia's leaders realised this had failed, and reverted to more modest objectives in eastern and southern Ukraine.
The Donbas offensive is making minimal progress and Russia anticipates a major Ukrainian counterattack. Operationally, Russia is suffering from shortages of munitions, vehicles and personnel. Morale is poor in many parts of its military and its army is significantly degraded. Its diplomatic power has been diminished and its long-term economic outlook is bleak.
