Turkey may be the biggest winner in this conflict.

I'd say 1. Poland 2. Turkey

Nobody, especially Turkey wants the Russians in Crimea.

6 months in to Russia's "special operation" and they are still bogged down in the east.

Putin is an idiot who surrounded himself with loyalists. The outcome of this special operation is exhibit A.

I'm sure that Delta Force is hauling around by hand something that shoots 3.3 inch shells, and the ammo too.

It was replaced already by LAW 80 in the UK over 20 years ago.

The Twitter guy is an idiot

What percentage of the Poliboard baws are incels?

At some point you have to realize how dumb you sound with that and how ridiculous these twitter posts of all these Ukraine babes on the front lines are

You fall for all of it

My impressions are that Ukraine has stabilized the Eastern front and Russia is only making very slight gains in that area. Ukraine has also made some headway in the South where they have recaptured done territory and appear to be gaining an advantage there.
Big successes by Ukraine have been from strategic bombing if bridges, rail lines and even a large Russian air base. Numerous ammo depots have also been blown up. Ukraine’s tsrgrtyinv supply lines and supplies appears to be working.
The question now us will either side make a push now or eill they hunker down with Fall and Winter approaching?

Putin bragged long ago that he would conduct a Russian military victory parade in Kiev on Ukraine's Independence Day which is today. The streets of Kiev are filled with Russian tanks today, but they are all destroyed or captured. The Ukrainians put them there for Putin's enjoyment so that he could witness his victory parade.

If any Eglish speaking nations then UK and OZ. They tend to use kit more and slightly differently than we do.

As for even the tier designation I don't think I ever heard that when I was in we always used Black/Gray/White elements. I always wondered if the Tier system was life imitating art. Is it used in the armed forces today?

In my day SFOD-1, 75th RRC, DEVGRU et al would have been Black, Seals, SWCC, Raiders, PJs, SF and Rangers would have been Gray, and 101st, 82nd, AF 142nd, USMC Recon would have been White. I think that is similar to what are called Tiers today. BTW I know I am missing some from each level nobody get butthurt the military seems like 2 lifetimes away for me now.

“The Department of State has information that Russia is stepping up efforts to launch strikes against Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure and government facilities in the coming days. Russian strikes in Ukraine pose a continued threat to civilians and civilian infrastructure. The U.S. Embassy urges U.S. citizens to depart Ukraine now using privately available ground transportation options if it is safe to do so.”

You must have missed the state department calling for all US citizens to evacuate Ukraine.

Russia is winning the war. It’s only a matter of time until Ukraine’s current government collapses.

Bad day for Russian oligarch Gennady Ayvazyan as his $50,000,000 yacht has a bit of a list off Italy.

Weird how that "matter of time" went from hours to days to weeks to months.

based on fricking what? the us telling people to get out of ukraine cause there could be missle strikes? jesus that is some mental gymnastics

i dont think anyone is winning and certainly nobody will win in the end no matter what happens. Ukraine is in ruins, the russian military is in ruins and the economy will be for years upon years.

you have got to be the poster with the least amount of self perception i have ever scene. your lack of ability to admit you might have been wrong is staggering.

The State Department issued that in light of it being Ukrainian independence day and the likelihood of Russian strikes around the holiday. The Ukrainians have their civil servants off work and aren't having public celebrations because of the likelihood of the Russians trying to put a turd in the punchbowl for propagandistic effect.
