The Biden administration then has to find something else to blame for their inadequacy.
Try not to ignore the fact that gas had already doubled in price BEFORE Russia invaded Ukraine.

What would happen to oil prices?

This is the reality that the posters on here are refusing to admit.

So we don't send Ukraine anything and then what happens?
Europe can use their own funding to build up their own forces.

How about we just stop spending money on dumb bullshite?
Government would be powerless.
They control with the purse string. Watch Ukraine and how the US will influence it. Big money coming to certain political cronies.

If we start back with the domestic oil production prices would fall but that goes against the administration agenda and another reason they are wanting us to keep the war going so the Putin blaming will continue.

And then what? Are Russian security concerns assuaged? You guys are pretending that the US is somehow unilaterally driving this. That's nonsensical.

Are you really that naive or are you just trolling.
What's scary is you actually believe what you just posted.

Would prices have increased if the US did nothing with regard to the invasion?

Europe should be 100% funding any military action in Ukraine. We should not be spending one dollar.
We do it for influence so cronies can make bank.

Again, if Russian security concerns are driving this, then what is to stop them from using those security concerns in the future to get whatever they want?

What if this is a long-term side effect of the Saudi-Russia oil price war?

Yeah, and there’s a simple way to remedy this, but they’re more concerned about a Swedish teenager yelling at them than the well being of their own citizens. Biden basically just told us all to go frick ourselves yesterday.
Are US prices somehow resistant to geopolitical machinations of other countries? Because from what I recall, the closing of new wells in the US and Canada first started in response to the KSA's attempt to price Russia out of the market, in 2020. I could be wrong though.
