Aren't combat forces generally about 2 or 3 to 1 on support troops to actual front line fighters?

I feel like there is a lot of video but not a lot of video.

It’s fricking weird and I don’t know how to explain it. We are fireballs here and there then one or two burning vehicles or shite falling from the sky but wouldn’t you think there would be columns and columns of tanks running through Kiev?

This explains why the Biden Administration doesn't want Zelensky and Ukraine to negotiate with Russia:

I'm going to let you in on a secret, if anyone else in this thread had posted that tweet it wouldn't be downvoted to hell.

This is not necessarily a what you are saying issue but a how you are saying it issue.

There were never a point in the Iraq invasion where the US suffered anything close to what the Russians have suffered so far

Yeah, I don't remember multiple fighters, a couple attack helps, and a transport plane with 100+ Airborne soldiers being shot down in the first 2 days.

Why is everyone shitting on nugget?

I’m not saying he’s right, but y’all act like the initial media talking points are right. How many times have we been lied to over the past years? Yet somehow y’all are accepting everything with Ukraine as fact.

They lied about Libia
They lied about the Syrian rebels
They lied about COVID
They lied about spying on trump
They lied about the Russian dossier
Etc. Etc.

But they are TOTALLY HONEST this time!!! They don't have any underlying agendas!

It’s a well known fact that Ukraine is a corrupt government where foreign politicians launder money and make deals. Even Ukraine admits it

I think alot of the video is coming from a distance from people not directly in the shite. I'd imagine most right in the thick of it are hunkered down and video is not a priority. The Russians could also be rolling internet/cell jamming tech with them (we know they have that tech in country).

The United Nations Security Council chamber erupted in rare applause late Friday after Ukraine’s ambassador to the UN, Sergiy Kyslytsya, called for a moment of silence to honor those who had died in Ukraine.

"I will ask all of you to dedicate a moment of complete silence to pray, or to mediate if you do not believe in God, for peace," said Kyslytsya at the meeting. "To pray for souls of those who has been already killed, for souls of those who may be killed."

He also invited Russia's ambassador, Vassily Nebenzia, to “pray for salvation.”

The moment came after Russia used its veto power to block a Security Council resolution to condemn Russia's invasion into Ukraine.

After Kyslytsya spoke, Nebenzia cut in to say the council should also honor those who died in the Donbas region, where Russia launched its military operation on Thursday.

After a brief moment of silence, Kyslytsya thanked the council, and diplomats from around the room broke out into a rare round of applause. Nebenzia was not among those who clapped.

THE UN CLAPPED, EVERYONE! Aren't they special??

What a useless organization.

BREAKING: UN Security Council resolution condemning Russia for invasion of Ukraine fails due to Russian veto, China abstains

This shite is so pointless. What’s the point of it? “Oh no you condemned my actions, guess I’ll stop invading now”

But we haven’t even sanctioned Russian oil and LNG beyond stopping certification of a pipeline that was not operational yet. Russia and China are their largest energy trading partners. France is top 5 but France needs Kazakhstan’s uranium for their nuclear industry thats 70%+ of their power generation.

They must think those sanctions are on the table / likely. Plus, regardless of what side they choose, China will trade with them and Russia won't likely have the money to buy from them.

Yep. I was wondering how long internet would last.

Russia is rolling mobile units that disrupt internet and cell service. I may take the time to go back in Rob Lee's tweets and find where he talked about it.

Council: So we should condemn Russia for this right guys?

Almost everyone: Obviously

China: I don't give a shite

Russia: No

Council: Welp, guess we are cool with it then.

But the Ukrainian president has so far refused to leave the country. What an absolute fricking man.

If he leaves it will demoralize those fighting. I think he intends to go down with the ship and hope they can pull it off.

Russian troops seem to have low morale while Ukrainians are motivated. Ukraine can win a war of attrition if they can hold long enough for Russian morale to tank.

From what I’ve seen Ukrainians post on social media they’re almost having fun crazy mother frickers

30 million dollar yachts have a crew that includes a personal chef. A bartender that is sommolier and whiskey expert. You have a cleanup crew and multiple captains. There is probably a security detail that speak multiple languages.

Bro have you not ever been on a 30MM dollar yacht. Thought all y'all baws were ballers.

pretty much.

Now, the US will take a resolution to the General Assembly (in which they can’t do anything) only for it to pass.
