Two things that struck me about that video. First , the obliteration of the vehicles! Dang. Second, there is simply no way to survive with that amount of wood flying through the air! Never mind the steel, the dang wood from the trees would kill everyone ! I got hit in the head with a little 2 inch thick Mayhaw limb last week and it almost knocked me out. Those things would be going through people.

Regarding Russian war crimes, I'm sure you all have seen the video of the 21-year-old Russian soldier pleading guilty to shooting an elderly, unarmed Ukrainian citizen.
I'm admittedly ignorant to this, but my questions are:
(1) How does the Ukrainian officials know this particular soldier committed said war crime; and
(2) How does Ukraine police (or army) capture and arrest the soldier?

They’re learning from their mistakes, and finding who the actual leaders are. We fired a lot of generals in WW2.

The Ukrainians say they had video of it. He pled guilty, says he was told to by other soldiers he was with to kill a 62 year-old guy on a bike in fear of the guy calling in their position to the Ukrainians. They had stolen a car. Sounds like they were totally undisciplined and he panicked, probably hadn't been trained and prepared for what he was asked to do. A rotten military.

Alleged that he & his fellow soldiers thought that the 62 year old man( on his cellphone) & pushing his bike may have been calling the Ukrainian authorities. I believe these scumbags enjoy "hunting" civilians

Mass Russian Shelling and Missile Strikes are taking place on Ukrainian Frontline/Border Positions in the Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, and Mykolaiv Regions most likely in preparation for renewed Offensive Operations in these areas.

Offensives in these Regions don’t necessarily mean Large-Scale Offensives, the pushes into areas like Chernihiv and Sumy will likely just be used to divert Ukraine Forces away from the Frontlines in the Southeast, primary the Donbas Region.

disagree. its almost 100% my side isnt in, so i cant acknowledge the other side does anything good.
im opposite side of the political spectrum as you and many you are talking about are actually much much closer to you then i am. If you really think with many on the right its a race thing then you are retarded, even more so then those you accuse. Your view is exactly why we are so far apart on so many things.
there are also some that just dont like spending money or getting involved in any foreign conflict. 99% of the time i am in that camp as are many in this thread. Difference is this time, we are getting a ROI on our spending in the form of getting china to back the frick off, expansion of our allies, and a weakening of russia without a single American soldier lost.
So before you start accusing people who may disagree with you of being a racsist....maybe slow down and think.
and its funny cause if trump was in place you would be the same way many of them are and you were when he was in office and failed to acknowledge any thing he did well, just like many of the fricking retards on the poliboard are doing now.
different sides of the same coin
now back to the actual war and kicking Russias arse

If you don't care about Twitter, ignore this.
For those interested in following the war via Twitter, it can be time-consuming to visit all the different Twitter feeds. I use a chrome addon called TweetDeck that allows you to view multiple feeds simultaneously. More importantly, it will allow you to view Twitter lists.
A Twitter list is a list you create and add users you want to follow. Then you can just view the list to see all the posts from those users in one spot.

What ever happened to the second main cruiser (or destroyer) the U's "might" have sunk? Was it ever confirmed to have sunk, or has it been sighted again?
Posted on 5/19/22 at 10:55 am to jeffsdad
The logistics ship that was supposedly hit has been sighted apparently undamaged. I haven't heard anything one way or the other about the frigate.

She was sighted intact.
It seems a Ukrainian MP claimed it had been hit, but Arestovych later claimed that had been a misunderstanding, that they'd hit a landing craft near Snake Island.

I saw several reports and pictures yesterday of a Russian Panstir SAM sitting on the deck of the logistics ship to give it some AA capability

Look to the left, you can see it sitting on the back of the boat.

A satellite imagery of Snake Island last May 13 shows only one ship sailing close to the island.
That ship is Vsevolod Bobrov with a Pantsir-S1 at the back of the ship.
What is surprising is that the position of the Panstir at the back suggest it is for the ship's protection

While I agree some would do as you say, I do not believe it is MOST. Hope not anyway.
ETA: and your past actions indicate you may be no better than them in regards to hyper-partisan pandering.

Not sure if that's the whole story reading the comments. Might have been that Ukraine actually used it at the start of the war and it was captured.

Yes, because not wholeheartedly supporting a regime so corrupt it would make New Orleans blush that also contains military units LITERALLY DISPLAYING NAZI INSIGNIA AND SYMBOLS automatically makes one an anti-Semite. Really???
You didn't think this through, did you?
