Thinking the family is chomping at the bit to get the money and are druggies is also speculation, not even sure where this idea came from.
Does anyone know if the GFM was shut down by gfm, or was the link only removed from TD?

I don’t know. I just told them I changed my mind about the donation. Must have received more than a handful of refund requests.

I think people are allowed to make decisions for their own money based on speculation. If you want to keep your donation, great! But others are perfectly allowed to take theirs back due to speculating that it will be used for drugs.
OP has a history of heroin addiction, he clearly stated multiple times that he was going to take a bunch of Xanax, he has a impressive arrest record, he was out of work for reasons we don't know, he has been caught in countless lies told here over the past few days, and he has some insanely erratic posting over the weekend.
On top of that, many of us saw their social media pages and are aware of what long time drug users look like. If they are all clean now, so be it. But considering OP said he can't wait to let us all know how badly the hospital treated him the other night, my guess is that he was not clean.
I don't think the fund should be taken down since the people who want to keep their donations should have that honored, FWIW.

I'm pretty sure the email he quoted is also the standard response for any refund requests regardless of reason.
