Dr. Woo. $3,000 total and insurance covered $600. Went from -9.00 prescription to 20/20 in a couple days. I hated contacts and vision is so much clearer than with contacts. She actually turns away 1/3 of potential patients because she won't do the procedure unless she knows it will work.

It was just awesome not having to deal with contacts, go to the eye dr every year so they could give me more and not have to worry about buying solution.

This is 90% of the reason I want to get it done. I spend so much on contacts (need specials due to astigmatism) I could've paid for lasik 8 times already.

Honestly it was the last time I've been to an eye doctor. My vision was really bad before, to the point that I couldn't find my way around a room without glasses or contacts.

Halos, which is a hazy appearance around brighter lights. This only lasted about a month.

Dry eyes

Singer seems cheaper

But Woo seems to be the going away favorite, since its my eyes I think I'll go ahead and pay the premium

I wish I had $3000 laying around cause I would schedule this right now. I still may do it and put it on credit card. I don't mind paying that down over 2-3 months but I don't want to take anything out of savings at the moment since we are saving for a house and you never know when you may come across something and need that down payment money.

I went to the eye doctor this past week and she said I was a great candidate. I am going to a general physician so I can get a check up and get a pass from her since I am type II diabetic. Once I have that then it is just a matter of doing it. It sounds amazing. I wore glasses the last 2 years and now I am back to contacts and I am already sick of them but I was also sick of glasses. I just want it over with.

I think some do interest free financing for a year or so, probably a better option than putting it on a CC.

I have wanted LASIK for years. Thinking I'll do it next year. I dont wear contacts, because use I find them greatly uncomfortable, but glasses annoy me as well.

Sounds like I'll need to look into Dr woo

I have worn glasses for 48 years. I would love to get this done. I mean it would be awedome to actually see what a 60" tv screen looks like. With glasses it looks about 40". Plus the idea of throwing on some cool shades is a def turn on....
