re: What’s your vegas hotel of choice? - TheFlyingDrogbas
Cosmo is my favorite with Aria being right behind. I like the vibe and location/ease of getting in and out of Cosmo a little better than Aria. Plus, Cosmo has the best showers on the planet. Best part of Cosmo is probably the density of the hotel if you stay in the Boulevard tower (front). Casin...

re: Anyone here done an Ironman? - TheFlyingDrogbas
I've done 3 70.3s and I don't really have any desire to do a full for a couple reasons. I like the 70.3 distance because I feel like I can still "race" it. Not to the level of getting on the podium of an Ironman branded 70.3, but it's possible in time. I also have no desire to be on a bike for 5-7 h...

re: Want to Start Swimming; Help Needed - TheFlyingDrogbas
Start by swimming exclusively with a pull buoy, focusing on breathing and catch/pull. Once you get that down only use the pull buoy every now and then to continue form work. I watched a lot of youtube videos and really worked on hand placement for a long time. I can't tell you how many people I see ...

re: Pho vs. Ramen - TheFlyingDrogbas
I'm more of a Pho fan but my wife prefers Ramen. Our go to for Pho is Dang's or Bao. Nine Dragon Noodle House in the best Ramen in town and Tiger Sushi on Sherwood is pretty good. We tried Umami's ramen once and it was so over the top spicy that it was nearly inedible. Not sure if we got it on a ...

The Rotolo's will be running this restaurant themselves with Mitch Jr. being there full time. You can expect this one to get the most attention from them....

re: Master in Finance - TheFlyingDrogbas
I completed the 18-month program at LSU in December, 2012 after getting my BS Finance from LSU in May, 2011. All of my classmates are doing well and are fairly spread out throughout the country. There are plenty of companies that hire out of the program with a ton of opportunities. One of my close f...

re: Open Water Swimming - TheFlyingDrogbas
There is a group that swims in False River a good bit, maybe once a month or so. You can reach out to False River Paddle Company and see when they have come because the Triathlon groups usually team up with them. There aren't many in summer as it's so hot but it will pick up as it cools off some. ...

re: 10 fast Food Resttaurants With Highest Customer Satisfaction - TheFlyingDrogbas
I always get fantastic service at Chipotle and it's one of the most consistent fast food restaurants. Obviously they have had a few issues but nothing related to customer service....

re: Turks and Caicos Islands... - TheFlyingDrogbas
The Gansevoort was a great honeymoon hotel for us. Small and mostly couples with a very chic, Miami-type vibe to the place. It's the last resort at the end of Grace bay on the biggest part of the beach so it was nice and private....

re: No More Jucifer Cans - TheFlyingDrogbas
I think the 8/7 batch was just off pre-canning. I am guessing they have been rushing and trying to get batches out and realize that if they let the quality slip it will harm them in the long run....

re: No More Jucifer Cans - TheFlyingDrogbas
Agreed, poured one last night from an 8/7 6-pack and it was off. Just looked and smelled different from the beginning and tasted off. I was really disappointed because the first couple 6-packs were phenomenal. Hopefully they can take a step back and get it right before going back to mass release....

re: Favorite campgrounds in the South? - TheFlyingDrogbas
I second Reunion Lake just outside of Hammond, LA. Lots of activities going on all the time. If you are looking for wilderness this isn't your place, but it's really nice and they have a ton to do for adults and kids....

re: Turks and Caicos Islands... - TheFlyingDrogbas
Stayed at the Gansevoort last summer and absolutely loved it. We rented a car for a day and drove the island. Not sure you would really need to explore more than 1 or 2 days. Depending on where you stay on Grace Bay, you could walk to most of the restaurants which are fantastic. Very expensive but e...

re: Dave Aranda is the 2nd best coach in the SEC, head coaches included - TheFlyingDrogbas
I love Aranda and I definitely think he's one of the best coordinators around, but he did have the luxury of having a ton of experienced talent in his first year. I think this year will speak to how great of a coach he is given the inexperience at LB and DB. I expect to have some growing pains but I...

re: Tried my first Ghost - TheFlyingDrogbas
Envie - nice hop bite for an APA, more orange flavor Bloom - very soft, smooth. Less of a hop bite than Opus Opus - really solid, slightly hoppier IPA. Ghost - much boozier than the others, which makes sense given it's a DIPA. Bloom is my favorite of them all with Opus coming in not far behin...

re: Do any of you have separate bank accounts from your wife? - TheFlyingDrogbas
Separate accounts, joint credit card. I pay everything from my account and she Venmos me every month. We plan to join accounts at some point but until we have kids, it just isn't really necessary. We put everything on the credit card and rack up rewards so it's easy to track everything too....
