The hit was meant for Diddy but the shooter lost track of the vehicle Diddy got into & got Biggie instead. Gene Deal was Diddy's bodyguard. He & Lil Ceasar saw it all. The thing is the Biggie murder involves LAPD officers because they were hunting Diddy the whole time the Bad Boy group were in Los Angeles for Biggie's video shoot for Hypnotized & the Soul Train Awards.

There's lots of videos on YouTube that have been put out by many people who were close to the situation. Keefe D, Reggie Wright Jr, MOB James, Gene Deal, etc.

Matter of fact, Reggie Wright Jr called the raid on Keefe D's house weeks before it happened. He also been adamant that if the raid resulted in Keefe D being indicted, that Diddy wouldn't be far behind.

Reggie Wright Jr is former Compton PD & was head of Death Row security. His dad Reggie Wright Sr. was Compton PD too. Wright Jr tells a story about one of the Southside Crips who everyone in LA was afraid of. He was that guy who could sneak up on anyone & kill them. He took out Big Buntry who was MOB James brother & involved in the fight at the MGM Grand. I can't remember this guy's name but he took out several of Suge's MOB Piru boys. He just got out of the pen for murder a few months ago. Wright Jr was driving one of Suge's vehicles & this guy passed Wright & followed him thinking it was Suge. He jammed Wright up at a dead end. Got out his vehicle with a gun approached the car. Wright said he thought he was dead but when the guy saw it wasn't Suge, he was like oh it's just you Reggie. Got back in his car & left.

After Pac's death, Snoop wanted off Death Row. It pissed off Suge because Snoop was the last big artist left. Suge wanted Snoop dead. He sent the MOB to shut down Snoop shows & try to get him. Snoop couldn't make any money.

Mystikal wanted Snoop to be on a song on his Unpredictable album. (Gangstas) Master P made some calls & got Snoop in the studio for the recording session. Snoop realized then P could protect him. After the session P asked Snoop to just hit him up if he ever needed anything. Later on Snoop asked for help to keep the MOB Pirus off his neck. Master P sent an army to protect Snoop. The rest is history. P got Snoop out his Death Row contract & signed him to No Limit. That's why Snoop constantly talks about how grateful he is for Master P & that Master P saved his life.

Right. The stories are interesting & I've found myself getting lost sometimes watching the videos of the players who are around the situation back then.

He's also a coward who is willing to do whatever to save himself. Diddy originally went to J Prince to try to get Prince to talk to Suge about getting Suge off his neck. J Prince talks about this in his book but J Prince refused to get involved the Death Row/Bad Boy feud.
