Las Vegas mayor won't give businesses reopening guidelines: They better figure it out.

"Right now, we're in a crisis health-wise, and so for a restaurant to be open or a small boutique to be open, they better figure it out. That's their job. That's not the mayor's job."
Goodman does not have the power to order Las Vegas' casinos to reopen and her comments are at odds with the reopening guidelines issued by the state's Gaming Control Board, which will ultimately sign off on a plan to have the iconic Sin City businesses running again.

Welcome to yesterday. But what kind of guidelines is she going to give us? She can say whatever she wants but it’s the governor who’s shut down the whole state and it’s the governor who will open us back up with certain restrictions. So why would she give guidelines for reopening when she can’t enforce them?

Did she get elected solely because her mob lawyer hubby was term limited out?
I shite you not on the mob lawyer part. He was the attorney for Tony The Ant Spilotro in the 70s and 80s, who was the basis for Nicky Santoro in Casino.

I have wondered about the dynamics of Nevada's political system. It has to be the most single city skewed state in the Union. Yes there is Reno but..

Not that I care aboot her, but she was borderline flustered because Anderson Cooper was being an absolute a-hole to her. I don't see him much but I have never seem him attack anybody so vehemently.

The Las Vegas mayor position, is pretty much a joke. Mb lawyer termed out, in goes wife. That was it. The mayor before mob lawyer, was the "hot chick" in the local TV car commercials. Look it up...jan jones.
