Wait until he “discovers” where the lithium, nickel and cobalt come from AND that a majority of all EV power stations are powered by coal, natural gas and diesel.

What about the Tesla body made from steel and aluminum?

agreed. I prefer to sit for 30-40 minutes waiting for my car to charge than to sit for 4 minutes and fill it up. My time is valuable.

Anyone who says we can reliably power our grid with renewables is a moron.

Purest example of the "it's green if I can't see the dirty part" lunacy that is driving current policy.

That is funny, but I don’t think Harris Ranch is trying to be politically correct. They are the 2nd biggest cattle ranch in the country. That i-5 exit is a prime fill up spot for travelers from LA to the Bay.

They are all on generators.

If you run out of charge what do they send to charge you up? An ICE truck.

It’s a giant scam. You like evs? Cool. You aren’t saving the planet.

Yeah I agree. I used to stay there for work every summer during the harvest season. The only solid place out there to stay really. Not much else around. Damn good steaks at their restaurant.

This is how power generation works for this new EV clown world.

Easy peasy no carbon emissions.
So you can build, deliver, maintain, and decommission a Gen 4 nuclear reactor without any carbon emissions?

Wow!

I wouldn't care if EV charging stations were powered by the tears of kidnapped children, I would still prefer the smooth power and low gas-station avoiding maintenance of EVs over ICE, at least for typical daily driving.

Thanks for going on record.

Thing is, the burning of fossil fuels to generate electricity is less efficient than just burning th fuel directly in a car

have audited those plants, by the way. They produce less current than the diesel fuel burnt to haul those trees to them would produce in a modern diesel generator. Add in the collection and processing of the tires and it ain't close. What these things are is actually a pretty good way to get rid of used tires. What they are not is a renewable source of clean electricity.

And burning used tires is no different than burning oil.

Tires are synthetic rubber…made from….wait for it….,. Crude oil

Most then?

For the vast majority of electrical production, including wind and nuclear, there is a traditional generator producing the electricity. All that varies is the driver.

Solar is the primary exception, there may be one or two others that I am not thinking of but those are statistically insignificant.

When do you think nuclear energy finally gets lobbied to be the energy that saves the planet from this so called climate crisis? Five years? 10? 20? Never?

Never. Nuclear is too good at solving the problem, and they need something to tie their progressive agenda to, which allows for more government with more power.
