A president should help a state in need regardless of support from the governor.

If they need help, Trump should give them help. You don't decide to provide disaster assistance based on political ideology

Everything dosent have to be turned into a political argument, and the last time I checked California was still part of America.

This is all a result of global warming and climate change . California is in a drought....

Oh wait. Too much rain, landslides breaking dams definitely "climate change"

All those tears from trumps victory playing hell with the water levels there

why?

Water/mud/debris from the eroding spillways got too high below the dam in the channel and compromised the equipment/powerlines leaving the plant.

There is a live stream video link in this article

The camera they are using has the video quality of a potato.

Jerry Brown? As partisan as it gets, and he's got a 40 year track-record, but they re-elected him, anyway.

They've now got about, what? 48 hours to try and protect the emergency spillway before the next significant precipitation. Sorry for all those folks living in the area.

This picture is from Feb. 10th

I hope they can drop the water down enough before more rain comes in. At some point, the main spillway might not be a viable way to release water.
