LAPD statement on Oscars incident between Will Smith and Chris Rock

Will releasing all his pent up rage over his tranny son on poor Chris Rock who just laughed after absorbing a sucker punch. Very sad night for a once great American icon like Will Smith.

This isn’t how it works. If this was real it was broadcasted around the world. The “victim” doesn’t decide if a crime occurred.
Do you think if Sean Penn walked up and slapped Oprah in the face the police would just say, “Well Oprah doesn’t want to file a police report so we aren’t going to arrest him.”

Yea, they do.
There is no need for Chris Rock's camp to pursue charges immediately. Will Smith will be easy to locate if that is the route they go.
Right now, his publicist team will likely gage the reactions tomorrow before deciding how to maximize capitalizing on this event to further his career or take Smith's down a notch or two.
As much as I hate celebrities, this will be interesting to watch how the parties respond. This will be in the news for the next week or two.
