1. Yes they can and do....more people then you know in your day to day have either smoked or eaten an edible during their day to day, and you're none the wiser.
2. Cause you hold this dumb opinion we should legislate it away.... let's find a random pastors opinion on booze and make that law of the land then

Embrace the party of… well you know who. He works for Biden. Posted on 6/23/24 at 11:03 pm to SixthAndBarone

I don’t think Louisiana has had a decent governor since Mike Foster.

Has he signed the bill yet where his buddy Boysie Bollinger gets one of the two state licenses to grow & distribute weed?

No shite, Sherlock. If you couldn't see this coming, you don't deserve the right to vote. Insurance is reformed for the insurance companies to drop you at will and screw everyone. Only tax breaks will be going to his podnuhs or the oil, gas, and chemical companies to rape what's left of the land.

At the rate Jeff is going, it would be very hard against this if your being honest. Jeff wants to be King, not Governor. Although his wife maybe straw actually stirring the drink

I’m not even sure we’re going to need time for that one. JBE was willing to govern, eg championing abortion restrictions contrary to the party line. Landry is a self aggrandizing clown who cares about nothing beyond his future national platform prospects.
Im hearing this opinion and it keeps getting louder and louder not even a year into his 1st term. One and done is on the table

Louisiana got it's wish, total GOP control.

Then you fail the cognitive litmus test for both freedom and critical thinking.
Well done

Yep, just waiting for that jackass Rep from Shreveport to file a bill to change the name of the state to Gilead. Notice how the Republican party platform aligns pretty well with Sharia law...

Such a paradise there, letting women have to get near death because the fetus with no hope of survival is making her septic. Even then doctor's are scared to treat or Ken Paxton will throw them in jail to prove how conservative he is.

Republicans just refuse to stop stepping on their own dicks. Marijuana issue would be a great time to flex some libertarian values.

Landry has his eye on a national political position and doesn't give a frick about Louisiana citizen's economic well being, only the chips he can cash later while doing his wealthy buddies favors, and enacting useless culture war policies.
Right out of the gate he's pulling a Jindal, except he's no where close to having Jindal's intellect.
We sure know how to pick 'em.

Lots of places around Louisiana that aren’t NO or BR and getting caught with weed is a ticket straight to jail. It’s all about money and crooked politicians in Louisiana so the money must make sense for those people to lock people up for a plant.
Why sit there and waste time typing out this angry little lie.
Under 14g is ticket-able and carries a whopping $100 fine. Under 2 pounds (with the exception of poss w/ intent) is simple possession and still only a summons to appear in court and not someone on its own a person can be arrested for.

In his veto message, the Governor said that he was rejecting the bill, in part, because he perceived it to be “an attempt to have Louisiana accept President Biden’s invitation to the states to join his soft-on-crime, no-consequences-for-criminals agenda.”
Landry rules by talking points.
