They emailed me and said they are handling the problem and wanted to discuss things with me. Gave them my phone number, and now two hours later still haven't heard from them. So not getting back to me on problems with the complex, sounds about right.

What did he/she say?

Updated:

Heard from the Regional Manager. He said Sorry. That essentially sums up the conversation. They said they "disposed of the dog".

To add to that, local news station called me. They are going to talk to animal Control again, and then they will let me know if they want to set up an interview.

Just wanted to find out who you are. You will be pushed out of that complex now. Rent will be $400 more at lease renewal, if you make it that long.

I bet he can't get out fast enough if they opened up to section 8.

What are the chances the news station called the Property Manager and that's when they decided to do something?

God id love for them to kick me out. So done with this place.

No, definitely not with the complex. Talked to the regional manager then seconds later wbrz. I called their number personally and they told me the woman who would call me. It's checking out so far.

Looks like it has a collar if there is a rabies tag on there it should be easy to track down the SOB's that did this. Hell they could have just put the damn thing in a dumpster.

how bout just dump the thing on the side of the road after you remove the collar? Its dead. No one will give two shits about a dead dog on the side of the road.
Having successfully executed a couple of viking funerals for dogs, it aint that difficult. But in a private pond? At least get some body of water with some flow in it!

The dog's body was respectfully removed at 1 pm today by a professional company that we contracted. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we promise to do better moving forward should anything along these lines ever occur.

A dead dog was in the lake since Feb 5th with several people here clearly letting management know and this is the response?

Appreciate managements concern. Glad you took action so quickly. Must've been busy getting your HUD paperwork in order for those Sect 8 tenants
