You aren’t talking to the right fishermen, I catch thousands of trout reds and flounder out of the upper estuary as do many others. Eat some give away some and clients take some home. None of us has tested positive for the rona yet.

I’d imagine it would be harder for the city to defend against a lawsuit from someone trying to protest than businesses being restricted right now, as insane as that sounds.
I’m guessing they don’t want a 1st Amendment lawsuit on their hands.

I have an usual dog and everyone stops to pet or ask about him. My wife's dog isn't as awesome but don't tell her that. Also, sometimes my wife brings our African Grey and he gets a lot of attention so if you see an Asian with a parrot on her shoulder at the seawall that is my wife.

I may have heard a certain person is trying be reelected by pandering to a certain segment of the community. Same reason Juneteenth fireworks were signed off on and approved but the Fourth of July fireworks were only broadcast due to Covid concerns. Quite a bit of backlash is stirring.

This should be up to the voters. Not just a few people. The Civil War was more about states rights guaranteed by our constitution than about slavery!
Slavery was secondary, regardless.... it is part of our history. We should not allow these idiots that didn't learn in grade school to not take things so personal to erase our history.

I don’t care if MB ever incorporates or not, but they do need a city sewer system. Something like 15-20,000 private sewer systems in the area send their wastewater into the estuary, and that’s got to stop.
